Even in a city where walks down the red carpet are a common occurrence, a walk down the aisle is a moment to remember, and starting on October 28, 2011 wedding watchers can enjoy all the pre-I do opulence of nuptial preparation in the 90210 zip code as TLC unveils their latest ceremony-themed series, Brides of Beverly Hills.
Over the course of 13 half-hour long episodes, viewers will see behind the “seams’ of the Renee Strauss bridal salon, where reality TV romantics can get a glimpse of the gowns that get a thumbs up or a thumbs down from such clients as an adult entertainment actress who will step into the role of a bride as she renews her wedding vows; a former beauty queen who is searching for a couture creation that will be the crowning glory of her ceremony; an NFL cheerleader who is rooting for Renee Strauss and her team of dress experts to find her fantasy wedding frock; a centerfold who is on the verge of posing for her wedding photos, former actress/renowned “Bag Lady of Beverly Hills” Kathrine Baumann and more.
Co-starring with bridal stylist to the stars Renee Strauss is Kevin Lee of LA Premier, whose floral finery has festooned such famed events as the Academy Awards, the Emmys and a number of notable nuptials, including the wedding of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. A star in his own right, the florist has appeared on VH1’s Rock Star Weddings, Lifetime Network’s Hollywood’s Rich and Famous and In Style Weddings, and he was the inspiration for Martin Short’s character in the remake of Father of the Bride.
Fans of fabulous wedding fashions are cordially invited to watch the premiere of Brides of Beverly Hills at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET October 28th on TLC.
