Miss Universe 2005 Engaged
May 2007-- Natalie Glebova, who won the title of Miss
Universe in 2005, chose the fairy tale surroundings of the ballroom
at the Sukhothai Hotel, a Bangkok retreat deemed one of Asia's Top 5
Hotels by the readers of Travel & Leisure magazine, to announce
her engagement to Thai tennis ace Pardom Srichaphen.
The sparkle of the beauty queen's 3-carat diamond, white
gold engagement ring mirrored the twinkle in the bride-to-be's eyes
as she sat next to her prospective husband and recounted for the press
the story of the couple's April 13, 2007 proposal during a romantic
getaway to Bali.
The lovebirds, who met in September 2006, are hoping
to schedule their wedding for either November or December of 2007.
