Melissa Kotsos' Australia Wedding
March 2007 -- The start of a new day marked the dawn
of a new chapter in the lives of Australian television presenter Melissa
Kotsos and Matt Hetherington, a noted singer and stage performer, who
were united in marriage on March 10, 2007 at the Morning Star Estate
on Mt. Eliza.
The bride's diaphanous veil danced in a breeze perfumed
by the petals of the Iceberg and David Austin roses that adorn the venue's
sunken garden, where family and friends looked on as the reporter for
"Coxy's Big Break" travel show pledged her love in an ivory
gown constructed on Italian silk by designer Judith Valente. The groom
chose a classic black suit for the occasion, accented with a pale rose
boutonniere which harmonized with the roses in his new wife's bouquet.
Following the ceremony, guests lounged on picnic blankets
and enjoyed a light meal before joining the newlyweds for a reception
held inside a marquee erected on the 38-acre estate.
