Where: The nuptials were held on the grounds of a Palm Springs estate rented for the occasion.

The Ceremony: As the sun began its descent on the horizon, the TV actress took hold of both of her parents as they walked her down the aisle past 120 guests, including members of the bride's "Married...With Children" family, Katey Sagal and David Faustino, and actress Cameron Diaz and then-boyfriend Jared Leto. The glow of Chinese lanterns positioned in palm trees mingled with the stars as they began to appear in the California sky, while floating candles illuminated the couple below as they spoke hand-written vows during the poolside ceremony.

The Dress: Designer Reem Acra, who would go on to create wedding dresses for Star Jones Reynolds and Melissa Joan Hart, fashioned an off-the-shoulder, white silk organza gown with a sweeping veil attached to her blonde locks, which were gathered together in a loose chignon by hair stylist Ken Paves, who also tamed the coif of Jessica Simpson on her wedding day. The stylist topped off the bride's sophisticated look with a 100 carat diamond encrusted Cynthia Bach hair comb. Bridesmaids were visions in violet, courtesy of Reem Acra. The hue harmonized with the bride's bouquet, which consisted of white and lavender blossoms. The quintessence of style, the groom donned a black Hugo Boss suit.

The Reception: After a repast that included several vegetarian dishes, fish, chicken, and a four-tiered white chocolate wedding cake, guests kicked up their heels to a variety of disco era tunes, from "We Are Family" to "You Should Be Dancing".
