52508: Wayne Rooney's Bride-To-Be Enjoys Bachelorette Party
The industrialized idylls that cover the canvases of famed artist L.S.Lowry have been muses for the music of Oasis, the cinematic landscape of a Terry Gilliam-directed movie and Manchester, England's five-star urban utopia The Lowry Hotel, which recently welcomed Coleen McLoughlin, fiancee of footballer Wayne Rooney, as she said so long to the single life with a weekend-long bachelorette bash. According to the Sunday Mirror, 24 friends and family members, including both the bride and groom's mothers, enjoyed both relaxation and transformation in the hotel's spa, followed by champagne toasts in the Presidential Suite, where guests could gaze out the windows on to the flowing waters of the River Irwell.
Saying bye bye to bachelorhood, the prospective groom will reportedly celebrate the impending "I do" with a stag party in Ibiza before watching his love, to whom his has been betrothed since 2003, walk down the aisle in a Marchesa wedding dress. A well guarded secret, the nuptials are rumored to take place in Portofino in June.
Just as the sunrise over Acadia National Park in Maine marked the start of their journey toward a lifetime together in August 2007, sunset saw the fruition of that promise as Jenna Bush and Henry Hager were pronounced husband and wife on May 10, 2008. Approximately 200 friends and family members blessed the couple with their presence, rising from the rows of white chairs situated on the grounds of the Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas as the 43rd President of the United States, like any other proud papa on his daughter's wedding day, walked his little girl down the aisle.
All eyes were on the bride in her Oscar de la Renta silk organza gown, the garment's beauty enhanced with the addition of quartz earrings from Anthony Nak and the dainty white flowers which she had gathered in her hair. Clutching her bouquet, she smiled at her mother (who had donned a turquoise blue dress by the same designer ) as she continued down the path which led her to a limestone altar crowned with a 4-foot tall cross, where her love waited to make her his bride.
Following the ceremony, in which the First Daughter received a wedding band to accompany her diamond and sapphire engagement ring, guests convened to a tent erected on the property, where 14 attendants in multi-colored Lela Rose chiffon creations and the maid of honor-- wearing a pale blue gown with a metallic sheen that mirrored the moonlight rising overhead-- sat at tables draped with mint green tablecloths and sampled slices of a four-tier wedding cake adorned with lavender, blue and white blossoms. The sounds of The Tyrone Smith Revue got the party going, but one tune tugged at the heartstrings of all in attendance as President Bush led his daughter out on to the dance floor as the the Joe Cocker classic "You Are So Beautiful" began to play.
Guarding over the ever-flowing waters of Salado Creek, the statue of a mermaid christened Sirena has seen a steady stream of tourists over the years cross over the Main Street Bridge in Salado in search of an elusive Roseville planter at one of the town's myriad antiques stores, an oil painting by a local artist in the town's art galleries or simply to wade in the refreshing waters of its bubbling brook. On May 9, 2008, however, Sirena was a silent witness to a historic event as Secret Service escorted the President of the Unites States across the bridge for a pre-wedding party in celebration of the First Daughter's impending I do's.
The Bridal Luncheon
Jenna Bush's pre-wedding festivities began with a bridal luncheon conducted at The Inn on the Creek, a Victorian era vision popular for romantic getaways. Family and friends sipped both champagne as well as tea and lemonade in order to combat the almost triple digit temperature before heading to the dining room for cake and to bestow gifts, the inn's owner recalls on the venue's official website. A 14-room retreat, guests can walk in the footsteps of the Bush family by booking a stay at either the Main Manor, Holland House or Giles-Kindred House, while those interested in entertaining in the style accustomed to the Bush family can order the inn's cook book, Salado Sunsets, which is filled with 100 signature recipes.
The Rehearsal Dinner
Attractions are only a short stroll away in this close-knit community, and the soon-to-be Mrs. Hager had only a few blocks to travel before meeting up with the groom and his family for a rehearsal dinner at Old Salado Springs Celebration Center and Retreat. Situated in a verdant landscape, the 5,000 square foot venue often echoes with the I do's of Hill Country couples.
Pre-Wedding Party
The Salado Silver Spur Theater often rings out with the applause of audiences as they take a nostalgic trip back in time to the days of vaudeville or the laughter of cinema buffs as they sing along with their favorite movie musicals during a special classic film festival. On the evening of May 9th, the converted stagecoach stop reverberated with words of congratulations as 200 friends and family members gathered for a Lone Star soiree.

Kate Moss has ruled the runway in a number of fashionable frocks over the years, and it seems only fitting that the catwalk queen might chose the royal color purple for the most important designer silhouette she will ever slip into-- her wedding dress. According to the Daily Star, the supermodel will either be eye-catching in aubergine or a beauty in black when she sashays down the aisle in a full-skirted gown accented with charms featuring a musical motif in honor of the groom, guitarist Jamie Hince of the indie band The Kills.
Attracted to the avant-garde, the bride-to-be has reportedly requested conceptual artists Dinos and Jake Chapman to create unconventional centerpieces for her wedding reception. When Kate's wedding day arrives, artist Jake Chapman, among the masterminds to concoct Agent Provocateurs latest ad campaign, which features the mesmerizing mannequin, will undoubtedly think back to his own special day back in 2004 when the supermodel sat in a pew at London's Christ Church to witness his exchange of vows with model Rosemary Ferguson.
The reception, which is said to take place following a wedding in the Cotswolds, will be held at Wapping Project. Formerly a hydraulic power station, the venue will be an industrial idyll for the bride and groom's Gothic gathering.
Actor/comedian Jamel Debbouze, whose portrayal of Lucien in the offbeat box office hit Amelie captured the collective hearts of movie buffs around the world, won the heart of the woman he loves on May 7, 2008. The cinema star walked in the footsteps of ancient French kings as he and his bride, M6 news anchor Melissa Theuriau, entered the Abbey of Vaux de Carnay, which echoed with the voice of Cernay's mayor as passages from the Koran and the Bible were recited.
Befitting a bride deemed the most beautiful woman in the world by the French version of FHM, the television presenter, who has clasped a cascading bouquet of roses and greenery as she strolled down the aisle, donned an off-the-shoulder, gossamer gown which created an ethereal effect as she stepped out into the sunlight, which beamed as brightly as the smiles of the newlyweds as received the best wishes of family and friends.
According to the French site 20 Minutes, following the civil ceremony the lovebirds flew to Marrakesh, where they would once again proclaim their eternal devotion to one another during a three day celebration.
Mariah Carey's latest single may be titled "Bye Bye," but the multi-Grammy winner has confessed that she has just said "hello" to life as the wife of actor Nick Cannon. As the sun sank beneath the ocean waves on April 30, 2008 the bride clutched a bouquet of ivory roses and walked in a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes along a white aisle runner which blanketed the sands on her Windermere Island estate in the Bahamas. The path led her to the shore's edge, where the couple were united in matrimony as they looked out on a horizon which seemed to stretch to infinity.
Although the bride has donned dresses by the world's top designers over the years, for her wedding Mariah was a vision as she spoke her vows in a curve-conscious, off-white creation from designer familiar with her physique-- Nile Cmylo, who fashioned the frocks for her Adventures of Mimi tour. The groom opted for a classic white on white suit from Balenciaga.
The couple share their special day with their fans in People magazine, which goes on sale May 9, 2008.
51408: Princess Margarita of Bourbon-Parma's Wedding
The fragrant white rose petals which rained down on Princess Margarita of Bourbon-Parma and lawyer Tjalling Ten Cate seemed to christen their love as the couple exited the Maarsbergen venue where they were pronounced husband and wife on May 3, 2008. According to Hello magazine, Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands, the bride's aunt, was among those who blessed the bride and groom with their presence at the civil ceremony.
Mirroring the beauty of the clear sky overhead, the bride wore a baby blue, knee-length dress for the occasion, its billowing sleeves fluttering in the breeze as she posed for photos alongside the groom, who donned a buff-hued suit for the occasion. The happiness which radiated from the couple on their special day may soon be equalled by the birth of their first bundle of joy, who will arrive in August.
51208: Jenna Bush To Enjoy Post-Wedding Party at White House in June
Although Jenna Bush will say "I do" to her love Henry Hager on the grounds of the Western White House in Crawford, Texas on May 10, 2008, the couple will also soon have the opportunity to celebrate their new status as Mr. and Mrs. at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The Austin American-Statesman reports that jewelry designers Anthony Camargo and Nak Armstong, who have designed adornments for several of the bride-to-be's memory-making moments, including the 2001 inaugural ball and her upcoming wedding ceremony, will be among the guests who will gather at The White House on June 21, 2008 for a post-nuptial party.
The lovebirds, who watched the sun rise on Cadillac Mountain in Maine's Acadia National Park on the day they became betrothed, will exchange vows in a sunset ceremony near a lake on the Prairie Chapel Ranch. Mirroring the beauty of the bluebonnets and buttercups that grace the Texas landscape each spring, 14 attendants will walk down the aisle in silk crinkle chiffon dresses by designer Lela Rose before the bride makes her grand entrance in an Oscar de la Renta creation. Expressing the couple's deep abiding faith, a limestone cross will serve as the altar and will remain as a permanent fixture on the site, forever marking the place where their two souls were united in the bonds of matrimony.
In the following video clip from TXA 21, see sketches of the bridesmaids dresses and hear tidbits about the upcoming ceremony:
50808: Jenna Bush To Wear Anthony Nak Earrings on Wedding Day
As the sun begins to descend on Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas on May 10, 2008, its last rays will sparkle on the pair of Anthony Nak earrings which Jenna Bush will wear when she says "I do" to Henry Hager. According to the Austin American-Statesman, the design team of Nak Armstrong and Anthony Camargo created the dangling adornments of ice quartz, the tear-drop shapes embraced by 18-carat white gold, platinum and small diamonds.
Launching in 1999, Anthony Nak jewelry has embellished the beauty of some of today's top stars, including Mandy Moore, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, and Kimberly (Buffington) Quaid, the wife of actor Dennis Quaid, who commissioned his wife's engagement ring from the Austin-based jewelers.
In the following clip from CBS News, take a trip back in time to the day the couple's betrothal was announced to the public and catch a glimpse of the last White House wedding-- that of Patricia Nixon Cox-- when she said "I do" to Edward Cox on June 12, 1971:
Both as a member of Boyzone and as a solo artist, Ronan Keating's voice has accompanied a number of newlyweds on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. On April 30, 2008, however, the superstar was singing the praises of his own wife, Yvonne Connelly Keating, as the couple celebrated a decade of devotion at Shanahans on the Green restaurant, a Georgian-era edifice in Dublin, Ireland.
As the couple clinked glasses in a champagne toast, no doubt the details of their wedding day were replayed in their memories. According to You & Your Wedding, the sounds of a steel drum band and the rolling waves of the sea provided a soundtrack for their sunset ceremony on the sands of a beach near the Four Seasons Hotel on the Caribbean island of Nevis. An intimate occasion witnessed by a select few, the lovebirds exchanged vows in the presence of family and friends once more upon their return to their home land.
Freedom has been a running theme throughout Mariah Carey's musical career, from christening her 1997 album after her trademark Butterfly-- a symbol of the singer emerging from the chrysalis of her former life to become both a stronger and wiser woman and performer-- to titling her 2005 CD The Emancipation of Mimi. It seems only fitting that, when the time arrived to tie the knot with the man she loves, the multi-Grammy winning recording artist would pledge her devotion on Windermere Island, a small strip of land nestled next to the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, a Greek word meaning "free."
Rumors of a romance and upcoming wedding became reality on April 30, 2008 for superstar Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon. Although the bride offered a clue regarding her impending "I do" when she appeared at an event wearing a platinum engagement ring from Jacob The Jeweler, adorned with a pale pink, emerald-cut 10 carat diamond embraced by 58 vivid pink diamonds which are guarded on either side a crescent-shaped diamond (totaling 17 caratsThe New York Post reports)-- when the couple exchanged vows it was a private affair blessed by the presence of a few close friends, including rapper Da Brat.
While the public has yet to see images of Mariah's wedding day, the singer's fans can take a trip back in time to watch the chart-topper walk down the aisle in the Vera Wang creation she wore the day she wed Tommy Mottola in her 2005 video for "We Belong Together," which features a cameo by actor Wentworth Miller:
While actor Jason Biggs may have experienced an elaborate exchange of vows with co-star Alyson Hannigan at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California in the 2003 comedy American Wedding, in real life the screen star and his love of the past nine months opted for an intimate "I do." According to Star magazine, the groom took actress Jenny Mollen to be his bride during a ceremony held on April 23, 2008 at City Hall in Los Angeles.
The newlyweds, who announced their intention to walk down the aisle in January 2008, later celebrated their new marital status at dinner with a small band of friends before embarking on a honeymoon excursion to Hawaii. Movie goers will get a chance to check out the couple's cinematic chemistry when My Best Friend's Girl, the film which brought the lovebirds together, hits theaters in September 2008.
Music legend Lou Reed of "Walk on the Wild Side" fame recently took a walk down the aisle with his long time love, avant garde performance artist Laurie Anderson, who is best known for her early '80's hit "O Superman." The New York Post reports that the couple, who have enjoyed a 13 year romance, said "I do" in a Colorado ceremony on April 12, 2008. The happy news was made public after the newlyweds celebrated their marital status with Law & Order: SVU star Richard Belzer and Oscar-nominated director Julian Schnabel at the New York City townhouse of photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders.
On April 19, 2008, reggaeton singer Tego Calderon, Primer Impacto co-anchors Fernando del Rincon and Carmen Dominicci and singer/actress Yuri surely thought back to their own wedding days as they, along with a host of Latin luminaries including singer Ivy Queen, Sabado Gigante host Don Francisco and La Gorda y La Flaca's Raul de Molina rose from their seats in the terrace ballroom at the Hotel Ritz Carlton in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico in honor of the bride, Jackie Guerrido. Clutching a bouquet of purple orchids, the TV weatherperson linked arms with her son as she began to walk down the aisle in a strapless, Luis Antonio creation accented with pearls and French lace-- each step leading her closer to the altar where her fiance since August 2007, reggaeton superstar Don Omar, waited in a classic black suit.
Once pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds joined their 350 guests for a feast featuring truffle risotto, lobster with lemon and white wine and steak, People En Espanol's online site reports. As the evening wore on, the couple took to the dance floor, and although the rhythm of reggaeton pulsates through Don Omar like a heartbeat, for their first dance together as Mr. and Mrs. they chose to sway to the sound of Alicia Keys' "No One."
From 1994 through 1999, actress Tamera Mowry shared the small screen with her twin in the TV comedy Sister, Sister, and on April 20, 2008 she shared in her sibling's special day, donning an aubergine gown for her role as the maid of honor in the wedding of actress Tia Mowry and actor Cory Hardrict.
Having spent her formative years in the entertainment industry, it comes as little wonder that Tia Mowry, who currently appears in the CW series The Game, chose designer to the stars Tadashi, whose form-fitting fashions have graced the frames of such high-profile beauties as Carrie Underwood, Kristen Bell and Kelly Clarkson, to create rose-hued dresses for her bridesmaids, while the bride herself slipped into a wedding dress by designer Kevan Hall, whose red carpet-ready wear has been worn by Katherine Heigl, Katharine McPhee and Vanessa Minnillo.
At the start of the half hour-long outdoor ceremony, her Erica Courtney jewelry sparkled in the natural light as a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes carried the bride down the aisle at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore Santa Barbara to the accompaniment of crooner Kenny Lattimore singing "For You."
Following the exchange of vows, the 170 guests who witnessed the union gathered inside the Four Seasons' ballroom for the reception, where People magazine online reports that the bride and groom cut slices of a four-tier vanilla and red velvet cake concocted by Culver City's Cake Divas, whose sweet treats have been seen over the years on such prime time shows as Buffy TheVampire Slayer, Charmed and the MTV Video Awards.
Over the years, the splashing waves of the Sea of Cortez has applauded its approval as a number of notables have said "I do" on the sandy shore at the One & Only Palmilla resort. In 2006, a Buddhist monk joined actor Oliver Hudson and actress Erinn Bartlett in matrimony, while in 2007 Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd chose the locale to pledge his eternal devotion to actress Alice Evans. On April 19, 2008, it was New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning whose heart pounded like the rolling surf as he exchanged vows with Abby McGrew.
According to the New York Daily News, six bridesmaids in strapless, champagne-hued creations walked toward the altar before the sounds of a guitar, violin and cello heralded the arrival of the bride, who clutched a bouquet of white roses as she strolled past in a strapless, lace-accented wedding dress designed with a short train which gently brushed the white aisle runner that led her to the groom, who had donned a khaki suit for the occasion. Taking their places on a flower-bedecked platform, the sun began to make its descent as the couple were united in a 16-minute ceremony.
A place where they have created romantic memories in the past, the couple chose the One & Only Palmilla resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico not only for their destination "I do," but also for their honeymoon. After returning to reality, the newlyweds will be busy writing thank you notes for the Juliska ice blue scalloped serving bowl and Graham footed goblets listed on their Neiman Marcus wedding registry and the Riedel Vinum Bordeaux glasses purchased from their registry at Williams-Sonoma.
The grounds of the Loch Lomond Golf Club became a fairway to heaven for golfing legend Colin Montgomerie as he took Gaynor Knowles for his wife on April 19, 2008. Starting his wedding day out on the green with his guests, the groom changed into a tartan kilt for the early evening ceremony.
Escorted down the aisle by her son, the bride-- dressed in an off-white wedding dress designed with bejeweled straps and a plunging v neckline, clutched a bouquet of white tulips as she walked past the 340 friends and family members who stood in her honor inside the white marquee erected for the occasion, Hello magazine online reports. The gathered guests bore witness as she received a wedding band to accompany the diamond solitaire engagement ring from jeweler Timothy Hardie which has graced her hand since August 2007, when her love proposed at the site of their first date, the Strathhearn restaurant at The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire.
Following the exchange of vows, guests dined on steak and salmon and danced to the sounds of the ABBA tribute group Bjorn Again at Rossdhu House, a Georgian era edifice on the golf club's estate, near the ever flowing waters of Loch Lomond, which reflected the sparkle of fireworks as the reception reached its end.
42708: Looking Back at Deion Sanders' 1999 Wedding
Nine years after pledging their love on Nassau's Paradise Island, Deion Sanders and Pilar Biggers offer an inside look at their own personal Eden in the rural community of Prosper, Texas during eight episodes of Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love on the Oxygen Network. As fans find out about the current state of the NFL great, Lovetripper takes a look back at the couple's 1999 nuptials:
The 70 steps that Pilar Biggers descended seemed like a stairway to heaven as the lilt of a harpist's tune accompanied the model on her walk through the courtyard at Paradise Island's Ocean Club. In the distance, the rush of waves on Nassau Harbour clapped in approval as she took her place by the groom, whose pink shirt, beneath a stylish three-quarter length silk and satin jacket, reflected the vibrancy of the Bahamas. As the white tulle which adorned the flower-bedecked wedding gazebo fluttered in the breeze, the couple pledged their devotion in the presence of 80 friends and family members, Jet magazine reported.
During production of their 2006 series Colin & Justin's Wedding Belles, interior designers Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister helped brides-to-be create their dream I do's. Now the TV personalities, who have sported engagement rings from Tiffany's and Bulgari since December 2007, have announced that they celebrated their own wedding day on February 15, 2008.
The nervous laughter of groom Justin Ryan rang out inside the Chelsea Old Town Hall as he pledged his devotion to his partner of the past 22 years, his titters transforming into tears as the couple were pronounced each other's husband. Following the exchange of vows, the bubbles in their champagne glasses mirrored the effervescent feelings in their hearts as the pair drank toasts to their love at Oriel Brasserie, overlooking London's upscale Sloane Square, before enjoying their first meal together as a married couple at The Wolseley.

Taking the platinum-selling recording artist by the arm, Shaila Durcal's father began to escort his daughter down the aisle on April 12, 2008, confident in the knowledge that the loving memory of the bride's mother, the late, legendary Rocia Durcal, also accompanied the singer as she made her grand entrance inside the club Tres Vidas in Acapulco, Mexico.
Standing in her honor, family and friends watched as the bride, clutching a bouquet of ivory roses, walked past in a creation by Rosa Clara, whose bridal attire has also been worn by pop star Paulina Rubio and supermodel Esther Canadas. The Chantilly lace hem of her full skirt and the gossamer fabric of a lace-edged veil gently brushed the white aisle runner which led the bride down the path to her love, Dorio Ferreira. Harmonizing with the bride, the groom opted for a white, pin-striped suit, which he paired with a lavender tie.
A white gold wedding band from Tiffany's, which now rests on the finger of the singing sensation, surely shined in the sun as the couple enjoyed their first days as husband and wife. According to El Universal, the newlyweds were pondering a honeymoon stay in Thailand or the Philippines.
The stars at night will be big and bright when Jenna Bush and Henry Hager enjoy their wedding reception on May 10, 2008. Deciding on a sunset ceremony, the shadows of the bride and groom will stretch across the grounds of Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas as the First Daughter receives a wedding band to accompany her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
According to The Washington Post, 14 attendants will create a rainbow effect in above the knee green, blue, yellow and lavender chiffon creations by designer Lela Rose, whose garments have graced the likes of Mariska Hargitay, Chloe Sevigney, Michelle Pfeiffer and Harry Potter star Emma Watson. For her own dream dress, the future Mrs. Hager chose a design by Oscar de la Renta, who recently created the bridal attire of Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl. Although the gown's final look is being kept under wraps, the bride has revealed that the famed designer fashioned the frock out of organza, its beauty enhanced with beading and embroidered accents.
Although he had called the shots behind the camera while filming his bride-to-be and her co-stars Erika Christensen, Jason Dohring, Kelly Preston and Bodhi and Jenna Elfman in the romantic short film Struck, actress Marisol Nichols needed no direction on April 13, 2008 as she made her way down the aisle toward her love, director Taron Lexton. A pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes carried the the cast member of 24 past family and friends who had gathered at the Church of Scientology's Celebrity Centre in Los Angeles to see the bride in her white, rhinestone-accented gown created by Jenny Packham, the designer who was also chosen by singer Anastacia for her wedding day attire in 2007.
Following the exchange of vows, US magazine online reports that the newlyweds cut slices of a lemon-and-coconut cake by Rosebud. (The Beverly Hills bakery Rosebud Cakes is renowned for creating wedding concoctions for Shaquille and Shaunie O'Neal's 2002 nuptials and Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's 2000 I do's). Guests dined from items served by the four-star Renaissance Restaurant, which is located at The Manor Hotel.
After saying farewell to their well-wishers, the newly dubbed Mr. and Mrs. embarked on a honeymoon excursion to Las Vegas.
Although their marriage did not stand the test of time, respect remains between Donald Trump and his former wife Ivana Trump, and on April 12, 2008 the mogul was among the 500 guests who gathered at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida as the socialite became the bride of Rossano Rubicondi.
Taking inspiration from his press-imposed moniker ("The Italian Stallion,") the groom strode to his place to the strains of Bill Conti's theme from Rocky, while the bride opted for the unabashedly romantic melody of Il Divo's rendition of "Unchained Melody." According to People magazine online, rays of sunlight danced on the pink diamonds of her Manolo Blahnik shoes, which carried the bride along the path leading to her love's side. Although 500 guests looked on, the cluster of fragrant orchids and roses that draped over a 15-foot tall arch provided a touch of intimacy as Donald Trump's sister(a federal judge who presided over the nuptials) pronounced the couple husband and wife.
Slipping out of her blush pink chiffon and gold Zuhair Murad wedding dress, the newly dubbed Mrs. donned another dress by the designer for the reception. Entertainment Tonight reports that the bride sparkled in a creation of pink beads and lace as she cut slices of a 600 pound, 12-foot tall, gold-gilded wedding cake.
The newlyweds will spend their first days of wedded bliss enjoying a honeymoon in the Maldives.
On April 5, 2008, rice rained down on newlyweds Hannah Graaf and Peter Karyd as they took their first steps as husband and wife out the door of a church in Sweden. According to Aftonbladet online, 80 guests had gathered to watch the model/singer walk down the aisle in a creation by Swedish designer Lars Wallin, whose designs have been donned by such luminaries as Lena Olin, Vanna White and Crown Princess Victoria.
Together with her sister Magdalena, Hannah Graaf topped the charts in her native country with the dance hit "You Got What I Want Baby," and on her wedding day her sibling was once again at her side. Dressed in a strapless, sage-hued dress, Magdalena held the bride's bouquet of ivory roses as she pledged her devotion to the groom, who had tucked a single ivory rose in the lapel of his black tuxedo.
Like the title of her latest hit single "L'incendie," a fire has burned between French chanteuse Vanessa Paradis and actor Johnny Depp for almost a decade, and reports have started to surface that the unconventional couple will soon tie the knot at a site on Tybee Island. According to Life & Style magazine, family and friends, including the pair's progeny Lily-Rose and Jack, will gather in the Georgia city on June 14, 2008 to watch the bride walk down the aisle in a creation from her home country.
Already married in their hearts if not on paper, if rumors become reality the couple have a number of ceremony sites from which to choose, including a three-mile stretch of sand which looks out on the Atlantic Ocean.
During her years as a co-host on the popular Univision news program Primer Impacto from its launch in 1992 through 2005 and as a guest host on The View in 2006, Myrka Dellanos became accustomed to shining a spotlight on human interest stories. However, it was the reporter who was the focus of attention when it was revealed that the television personality had stepped inside a church in Miami on April 6, 2008 and exchanged vows with Ulysses Daniel Alonso.
Fifteen years her new husband's senior, the age gap has proven not to be a hindrance to the happy couple, who requested that only the bride's mother and her daughter from a previous union share in their special day, according to People En Espanol online.
41508: Prince Charles and Camilla Mark Third Wedding Anniversary
On April 9, 2005 a car emblazoned with the words "Just Married" whisked newlyweds Prince Charles and his bride, the former Camilla Parker Bowles, from Windsor Castle at the start of a journey that would ultimately lead the pair to Birkhall on the Balmoral estate, where they would spend their first 10 days as husband and wife. On April 9, 2008, the couple welcomed an intimate gathering of guests to their hideaway in the Highlands as they celebrated three years of wedded bliss, Hello magazine online reports.
Although accommodation is not available to the public in Balmoral Castle or Birkhall (the former Balmoral residence of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, which Prince Charles inherited upon his grandmother's passing), romantics who wish to follow in the footsteps of the royals can book a stay in one of the many holiday cottages that grace the Balmoral estate. Two Colt cottages are cozy quarters situated near the castle, while the beauty of Connachat Cottage is framed by the trees of Ballochbuie Forest. The babbling waters of the River Dee can be heard from Garb Allt Shiel, a venue that can hold up to seven guests, while occupants staying inside the Old Schoolhouse are awarded with a view of the River Muick. Able to accommodate up to 13 guests, Alltnaguibhsaich Lodge is nestled in the verdant grounds of Glen Muick.
Fans of the royal family and nature lovers alike can take an audio tour of the grounds and gardens annually from late March through July. Although Balmoral is a private residence, visitors can get a glimpse of the regal retreat with a tour through the ballroom.
Currently enjoying a two-week romantic getaway at their Scottish sanctuary, no doubt the Duchess of Cornwall will be reminded of her happy memories of her wedding day, when she donned two creations by Robinson Valentine-- first for a civil ceremony at Guildhall in the town of Windsor, and later for a religious blessing of the couple's union at St. George's Chapel. The following YouTube clip from ITN Source takes royal watchers back in time to April 9, 2005 as The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall become husband and wife:
Spring is a time of reawakening, not only of the earth, but also in a person's heart. Five months after suffering public heartbreak as her longtime beau Marc Bannerman became captivated with another, actress Sarah Matravers said "I do" to the man who renewed her faith in love-- millionaire Ian Stewart. On April 5, 2008, Coronation Street star Alison King was among the guests who gathered at 30 St. Mary Axe, a London site fondly referred to as The Gherkin, to witness the couple exchange vows in a civil ceremony, the Daily Mail revealed.
Choosing colors as fiery as the feelings they share, the former Footballers Wives star clutched a bouquet of vibrant orange and yellow roses as she walked down the aisle in a midi length, lace-accented wedding dress, its sentimental sweetheart neckline a dramatic foil for the slit skirt which revealed the bright orange fabric of her petticoat. White high heel shoes adorned with orange bows carried her to her groom, who wore an orange tie and boutonniere along with his classic black suit to harmonize with his bride.
41008: Celebrities Attend Wedding of Hollywood Stylist
As a stylist to the stars, Estee Stanley has helped such notables as Eva Mendes and the Olsen twins shine in the spotlight. On the evening of April 5, 2008, however, all eyes were on the co-creator of the Miss Davenporte clothing line as she donned a strapless, frill-festooned wedding dress for her walk down the aisle.
The videographers at Hollywood.tv captured images of A-list attendees Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer, former Felicity star Scott Speedman, Arrested Development's Jason Bateman and mask-shrouded siblings Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen at the "I do" destination, the Oviatt Penthouse in Los Angeles.
The Art Deco ambiance of the venue, which in the past has been the wedding locale for Samantha Who? cast member Melissa McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone as well as Goth rockers Jessicka Fodera and Christian Hejnal, provided the perfect compliment for the bride and groom's sophisticated, black and white-themed affair.

A bride has not stepped foot across the threshold of the Lima Cathedral since 1949, but on April 5, 2008 wedding bells once again chimed inside the house of worship as Julia Trappe made her grand entrance. Standing in the doorway, the light of the late afternoon sun danced on the intricate beadwork and filtered through the voluminous fabric of the bride's Massimo Gasparon wedding gown, creating an ethereal effect as she began her walk down the flower-lined, red carpet aisle toward the man she had wed in a civil ceremony on April 23, 2007-- tenor Juan Diego Florez.
Looking out from beneath the blusher of her tulle veil, the bride smiled at the guests who rose in her honor, including Peruvian president Alan Garcia, before taking her place by the groom, who looked stylish in a black suit by Ermenegildo Zegna.
Following the five p.m. nuptials, the couple joined family and friends at the Pedro de Osma museum for the reception, El Universal reports.
Following is a clip of the newlyweds from a report on RPPTV-- Radioprogramas del Peru:
The number four has long held a special meaning for Grammy-winning artists Beyonce and Jay-Z (born Shawn Corey Carter), with the Dreamgirls star celebrating her birthday on the fourth of September and the music mogul blowing out candles on the fourth of December. From now on, the fourth day of the fourth month will symbolize the beginning of forever for the two superstars, as long-running marital rumors reportedly have become reality.
According to Entertainment Tonight, silver candelabras and 60,000 fragrant white orchid blossoms from Amy's Orchids were carried up to a white tent erected on top of the groom's TriBeCa apartment for the celebrations, which were attended by Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin, the bride's sisters in song, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and her sibling, Solange Knowles. Sporting the color of the evening, guests wore white to the evening affair.
