On October 2002 the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas echoed with the laughter of newlyweds Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson as they enjoyed their wedding reception. Years later the Lone Star venue welcomed another celebrity celebration as actor Harry Lennix, star of the FOX sci-fi series Dollhouse, said "I do" to his love, Djena Nichole Graves.
According to the couple's wedding announcement in the New York Times, a romance which began after Graves saw her future groom on stage in a production of Radio Golf, led to their nondenominational ceremony on June 27, 2009.
The Holmby Hills home of publishing icon Hugh Hefner may be accustomed to the sight of Playmates, but on June 27, 2009 the mansion transformed into a site for soul mates as Hef's former honey Kendra Wilkinson said "I do" to her love, NFL star Hank Baskett.
Linking arms with her brother Colin, the reality personality peered from behind the diaphanous blusher of her veil at the 300 guests who rose in her honor as she began her walk down the aisle. The sun's last rays dancing on the facets of her diamond and platinum Michael Barin jewelry, the bride made her way toward her groom, who presented her with a band to accompany the 2 1/4-carat princess cut diamond engagement ring from Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers, which has graced her finger since November 2008.

The waters of the familiar fountain at the entrance to the Playboy mansion seem to applaud its approval as the newlyweds stroll along the rose petal-sprinkled driveway:
Slipping his feet into a pair of flip flops, rocker Eddie Van Halen was "standing on top of the world for a little while" on June 27, 2009 as he watched Janie Liszewski, his love of the past three years, walk down the aisle. Feeling that there's no place like home to begin their life together as husband and wife, the couple had requested the presence of 100 friends and family members in the garden of their Studio City, California residence to help them celebrate the happy event.
The mother of his child and his friend forever, Eddie Van Halen's former wife Valerie Bertinelli was among the guests to catch a glimpse of the bride as she made her grand entrance in a Hanna Hartnell creation, designed with blush pink detailing against warm champagne-hued silk which harmonized with the fur of the bride's Pomeranian Kano, who escorted his human parent down a white rose petal path toward the groom (who wore all white for the occasion) to the tune of the Van Halen hit "When It's Love," performed by L.A.-based spring ensemble the Sonus Quartet.
The facets of her Bulgari jewelry twinkling in the waning evening light, Liszewski presented the performer with a yellow diamond-studded gold band during the nondenominational ceremony, while the groom gifted his bride with a platinum band to accompany the engagement ring that has graced her finger since Van Halen's August 4, 2008 proposal inside Tiffany's during a Hawaiian getaway.
Making theirs a family affair, Van Halen's son Wolfgang stood by his father in the role of best man while the groom's brother Alex Van Halen, who has stood so often on stage with the guitar god, pronounced the couple husband and wife.
Toasting to their union with nonalcoholic beverages, the newlyweds joined their guests poolside for a post-wedding feast of French fries, corn dogs and mini-hamburgers followed by glazed grilled chicken and filet mignon before sampling slices of a flower-bedecked white chocolate cake.
The newly dubbed Mr. and Mrs. are scheduled to embark on a honeymoon excursion that will take them to New York, Germany and the Netherlands, People magazine reports.

Kendra Wilkinson may have proudly flashed a diamond-studded grill during her days in the Playboy mansion, but for her wedding day the reality personality has chosen tradition over current trends, and will wear platinum and diamond jewelry created by Michael Barin when she pledges her love to Hank Baskett.
While all brides beam on the day they say "I do," Hef's former honey will have extra sparkle thanks to more than $100,000 worth of Barin's bijoux, including a $47,000 pair of platinum drop earrings with 4.25 carats of diamonds, a $33,700 platinum pendant with 2.50 carats of diamonds and a $21,00 platinum bracelet with 4.50 carats of diamonds.
The star of her own E! series will not be the first famous face to dazzle in diamonds from Michael Barin. Without A Trace cast member Roselyn Sanchez wears a 4.3-carat brilliant cut engagement ring and wedding band made by the jeweler, and donned more of Barin's designs for special day.
French President Sarkozy, Lee Radziwill Attend Wedding of Prada Executive
The devil may wear Prada, but the designer label's executive Mathilde Agostinelli looked like an angel when she arrived at city hall in Paris' 16th arrondissement on June 23, 2009 to exchange vows with fashion photographer Antoine Meyer. Wearing a flirty white frock and casual cardigan paired with seductive silver stilettos, the bride's wedding day dress was a marriage of innocence and intrigue as she walked down the aisle.
The stylish civil ceremony was a gathering of high society and famous faces, including President Nicolas Sarkozy (who had invited Agostinelli to attend his nuptials with Carla Bruni) and Lee Radziwill (sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis), PurePeople reported.

In June 2007, soccer star Joe Cole and his love Carly Zucker were among the guests seated in the pews at St. Peter's Church to witness the wedding of Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick and Lisa Roughhead. Two years later the couples found their roles reversed as Michael Carrick and his wife joined Chelsea and England captain John Terry, fellow soccer star Scott Sinclair, EastEnders cast member Kara Tointon and approximately 150 friends and family members as they rose from their places inside Royal Hospital in Chelsea in honor of Carly Zucker as she began her walk down the aisle. During the ceremony guests witnessed the groom slip a wedding band on his bride's finger to accompany the £50,000 engagement ring which has graced Zucker's left hand for the past two years.
The newly pronounced Mrs., who recently said so long to the single life with a bachelorette party at London nightclub Mahiki, has kept the style of her "I do" dress (which the Mirror indicates was purchased at bespoke wedding supplier Ana Cristache) a secret which will only be revealed to the public upon the publication of the magazine chosen to present the details of the couple's special day.
The bride wore a white dressing down for her walk to the vehicle which whisked her to the wedding venue:

Only days away from saying "I do" to her football star fiance Hank Baskett, Kendra Wilkinson bid a fond farewell to her former footloose and fancy free lifestyle with a fete that included at least one familiar face-- another of Hef's former honeys, Bridget Marquardt.
Gathering at Hollywood's Guys and Dolls bar-lounge (a hot spot owned by former daytime drama heartthrob Michael Sutton, who portrayed Stone Cates on General Hospital), pals bearing provocative presents for the bride-to-be stopped at the door to record video messages for the guest of honor before sampling servings of Sprinkles cupcakes, US magazine revealed.
On June 27, 2009 the reality personality will pledge her love to the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, who will slip a wedding band on her finger to accompany the 2 1/4-carat princess-cut diamond engagement ring, purchased at Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers in New Jersey, which the star has sported since November 2008.

The 18 carat white gold ring was purchased at Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers in New Jersey, and was presented to her by Hank Baskett at the top of Seattle's Space Needle.
Former Hear'Say member/Dancing on Ice champion Suzanne Shaw was dancing on a cloud as she waltzed down the aisle on June 13, 2009 and said "I do" to her love of almost four years, DJ Jason King.
The couple's commitment, which led to an August 2008 proposal after a three-year courtship, culminated with a wedding at Captain's Club Hotel in Christchurch, the Daily Mail reports. Although the details of the ceremony are currently shrouded in secrecy, early reports indicate that the bride's former Hear'Say band mates Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster were among the guests to wish the newlyweds happiness in their new life together.
While some believe that love flies in on the wings of a dove, it was an owl that was the bearer of the wedding bands that symbolize the everlasting bond between Manchester United defender Wes Brown and his love Leanne Wassell when the couple said "I do". Swooping down on the shoulder of the best man, "Ollie" presented a leather pouch containing the rings which were slipped on the lovebirds' fingers on June 13, 2009 in a ceremony held at Peckforton Castle, the North-West Evening Mail reports.
Having marked their first year of marriage the day before, soccer star Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen were among the group of well-wishers at the nuptials before traveling to Barbados to privately celebrate their anniversary and look forward to their future with the child they will welcome into the world later this year.
Brazilian athlete Roberto Carlos may be considered among the top 125 greatest footballers living today, but the soccer star holds the number one spot in the heart of his bride, Mariana Lucon. His happiness apparent to all in attendance, the wingman for Turkey's Fenerbahçe team showed off a few soccer moves for reporters on June 13, 2009 after saying "I do" to the physiotherapist in the presence of 600 guests-- including singer Alexandre Pires and fellow footballer Juninho Paulista-- who had gathered at Terraço Daslu in São Paulo to witness the happy occasion.
According to Midracon News, the bride walked down the aisle in a strapless creation by Manuel Motta, which was paired with a lace-edged veil. Tucking a white bloom into his jacket's lapel, the groom looked dapper in a dark suit by Camargo Alfaiataria.
After sampling sugar rose-covered mini-cakes at the reception, the newlyweds spent their first night together as husband and wife in a suite at the WTC Sheraton Hotel in São Paulo before embarking on an excursion to a Brazilian resort and a trip to Dubai.

"Coronation Street" Stars Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall Marry
Having played a part in making the dreams of dance troupe Diversity and overnight sensation Susan Boyle come true, Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden witnessed the dream of a friend become reality as she and Chris Hughes, her husband of the past six months, sat in a pew at St. Bertoline's Church in Barthomley, Cheshire and watched ex-Coronation Street cast member Lucy-Jo Hudson join in matrimony with a current star of the popular soap, Alan Halsall.
Perhaps thinking of her own 2005 wedding, actress Samia Smith was also among the guests to watch Hudson walk down the aisle in a gown that would later be covered with a black cloak during the bride's exit from the house of worship, providing the public only a peek of her peep-toe shoes the Daily Mail reports.
It was love all for tennis legend Boris Becker as he exchanged vows with Sharlely "Lilly" Kerssenberg on June 12, 2009. The steps of the Seganini Museum in St. Moritz proved to be a stairway to heaven for the pair as they entered the St. Moritz venue for the civil ceremony.
Showcasing her individualistic sense of style, the bride donned a white trouser suit for the I do's-- a relaxed yet refined look enhanced with the addition of a dainty bouquet of ivory roses. According to Bild, supermodel Claudia Schiffer, champion cyclist Jan Ulrich, Prince Albert of Monaco and the groom's two sons were among those who witnessed the three-time Wimbledon winner-- dressed in a grey pinstripe suit paired with a pewter tie-- pledge his devotion to the Dutch model.
Pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds would later celebrate their union with a religious blessing at Regina Pacis Chapel before welcoming 200 friends and family members to their post-wedding festivities at Badrutt's Palace Hotel. Just 45 minutes after obtaining their license to wed, the nighttime nuptials took place at La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. The pews were empty as the bride made her way down the aisle toward the groom, who donned a suit and tie for the occasion.
As though blessing the couple's union, the limbs of a 200-year-old oak tree stretched out toward actress Autumn Reeser (TheO.C.) and her love Jesse Warren as they pledged their devotion beneath its branches on May 9, 2009.
A popular place for stars to celebrate their new lives together, the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa-- the California retreat where Private Practice's Kate Walsh enjoyed her wedding reception and fellow cast member KaDee Strickland said "I do" to Roswell star Jason Behr-- welcomed the 200 friends and family members who stood in honor of the bride as she strolled past in a strapless Carolina Herrera creation, her diaphanous veil dancing joyfully with each breath of air as her shoes followed the fragrant path of white rose petals and herbs which led her to her love.
Once pronounced husband and wife, People magazine reports that the newlyweds and their guests convened to the Hacienda ballroom, which was aglow with the flicker of candlelight during the reception.
Seated in the pews at Brick Presbyterian Church in New York on June 4, 2009, no doubt images of the day they said "I do" brought smiles to the faces of mogul Donald Trump and Melania Trump and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones as they watched Suzanne Ircha walk down the aisle toward the father of her two young sons, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson.
According to the New York Post, 150 friends and family members witnessed the union, then followed the newlyweds to a reception at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Woody Johnson was previously married to Sale Johnson, who exchanged vows with sportscaster/former football star Ahmad Rashad in November 2007.
Boris Becker and Fiancee Make Preparations for Wedding Day
Only one week remaining before their walk down the aisle, tennis great Boris Becker and Sharlely "Lilly" Kerssenberg, his soon-to-be Mrs., took a stroll down the Champs Elysees to the Dephine Manivet bridal boutique on June 4th for a pre-wedding day shopping excursion. Holding a plethora of purchases, the beaming bride-to-be left the swank shop with items for her "I do," which will take place June 12th at the Swiss ski resort of St. Moritz, the Daily Mail revealed.
Paris in the springtime is made for lovers, and the pair no doubt felt on top of the world as they enjoyed a romantic repast that June afternoon at Le Jules Verne restaurant, the Eiffel Tower's second level eatery which holds a special place in the heart of Tom Cruise, who chose the site for his proposal to Katie Holmes in 2005. The couple continued their stay in the City of Light in a suite at The Ritz Hotel.

As he cheered on Sex and The City star Cynthia Nixon during the announcement of her engagement to longtime girlfriend Christina Marinoni at a May 17th rally in support of gay marriage, former Frasier cast member David Hyde Pierce no doubt thought back on the struggle to have same sex marriages legally recognized-- a long road which, although it still continues, finally led to the day he could legally say "I do" to Brian Hargrove.
The couple, whose love has lasted a quarter of a century, were joined in marriage on October 24, 2008, the actor confided to the ladies on The View. Their vows, as well as those of other same sex couples taken before the passing of Proposition 8, have been declared legally binding by the California Supreme Court, although the ban still holds.

Queen Latifah Attends Wedding of Rapper Talib Kweli
In 2004 Talib Kweli may have climbed the charts with his single "Never Been In Love," but the song's title has no bearing on the rapper's romantic status today. On May 9, 2009 the performer said "I do" to his lady love, DJ Eque,allhiphop.com reports.

The joyful refrain of a gospel choir signing "Love Is In The Air" floating on the breeze, the couple were pronounced husband and wife on Turtle Beach at Grand House Hotel.

"Expedition Grizzly" Host Casey Anderson's Wedding to Actress Missi Pyle
Couples often receive bear hugs from friends and family members on the day they say "I do," but only actress Missi Pyle and naturalist Casey Anderson can say that they were offered felicitations from an actual bear. Thanks to best man Brutus-- an 800-pound grizzly who was raised from birth by the groom-- the bride (who has starred in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay) took a walk on the "wild" side when she walked down the aisle.
The pair's nature-inspired nuptials took place on August 30, 2008 on the verdant grounds of Holland Lake Lodge in Swan Valley, Montana. According to InStyle Weddings, which covered the happy occasion, 85 guests (including Saw star Shawnee Smith and 90210 cast member Christina Moore, who stepped into the role of maid of honor) looked on as the bride, dressed in a Cocoe Voci creation, exchanged vows with the bear expert. Rising from the pews in her honor, 200 family members and friends-- among them Kristin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge, Frankie Delgado and Brody Jenner-- watched the bride walk down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier creation. As bridesmaids Jada Pinkett (the future bride of actor Will Smith) and Brandy looked on, the bride made her grand entrance in an off-white creation by designer Renee Strauss, the garment's ballgown skirt gently shifting as she walked in backyard of the home she shared with the man who waited to make her his wife, actor Duane Martin.

8) Beverley Mitchell-- Standing in support of their small screen sister, former 7th Heaven costars Jessica Biel and Mackenzie Rosman were visions in Vineyard Collection creations. Acting as maid of honor, the bride's twin wore a floor-length, strapless aubergine gown from Tadashi, the same designer who created midi-length, rose-tinted halter dresses for the bridesmaids.
10) Autumn Kelly-- Before the opening notes of the "Prince of Denmark's March" announced the bride's entrance, junior bridesmaids in celadon-hued Sue Palmer silhouettes strolled down the aisle of St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle. Since the start of their romance in September 2007, Carole Rome has been first in the heart of the man she loves. On December 12, 2008 the socialite also became the First Lady of Florida as she said "I do" to Governor Charlie Crist. Olympian Shannon Miller and Tampa Bay Buccaneer Derrick Brooks were among the 200 guests who gathered inside the First United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg and rose from the pews as the regal strain of Trumpet Voluntary, the tune which famously accompanied Princess Diana's walk down the aisle in 1981, announced the arrival of the bride.
Clutching a bouquet of ivory roses, a pair of three inch Filippa Scott shoes carried the bride to her destination in a silk silhouette from Pronovias, which had been purchased at the Wedding Atelier in Manhattan.
Signifying a union both of two soul mates and of their families, the bride's two young daughters-- dressed, like the matron of honor and the Governor's sisters in champagne-colored creations by designer Jim Hjelm-- gave their mother away to the groom, who looked dapper as he stood at the flower-bedecked altar in a black tuxedo, Tampa Bay Online reported.
Following the exchange of vows, in which the newly dubbed Mrs. Crist received a diamond encrusted white gold wedding band from the Gold & Diamond Center to accompany the sapphire engagement ring which has graced her finger since July 3, 2008, the doors of the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club's Grand Ballroom opened to family and friends for a reception.
City Hall in New York City held all the right ingredients for Top Chef season two finalist Sam Talbot and model Paola Guerrero's dream "I do." A cherished secret until now, People magazine reports that the happy couple exchanged vows on November 17, 2008.
Engaged since July 2008, the nuptials brought to fruition a romance which began one year ago as the Executive Chef of Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York celebrated his Big 3-0 in Brazil.
Once pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds began their new life together with a honeymoon excursion to the bride's homeland of Colombia.
The number 13 may be considered unlucky by some, but for fashion designer Pearl Lowe and Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey the digits mark the number of years happily spent together before their I do's. On December 4, 2008, the couple committed their lives to each other in the presence of family and friends during two wedding ceremonies held at Babington House, a Georgian-era manor in Somerset, England which has welcomed several star weddings over the years, including those of Natasha Kaplinsky to Justin Bower and Fat Boy Slim to Zoe Ball.
While many of the tomes which line the library in Babington House contain tales of romance and intrigue, perhaps none can match the love story of the couple who pledged their devotion in the room during a civil ceremony. Once pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds later walked to an 18th century chapel on the 18-acre estate for a religious observance of their union.
The warm glow of 300 candles illuminating their path, the bride's daughters-- donning dresses draped with an overlay of black lace-- made their way down the aisle ahead of the bride, who clutched a bouquet of deep crimson roses as she walked toward the altar in a Gothic-tinged garment composed of black silk. The alternative attire, designed with long sleeves and a wedding band collar, harmonized with the groom's garb-- a classic black suit and tie.
To celebrate their new life together, the couple requested that Notting Hill star Rhys Ifans read a poem by e.e. cummings during the ceremony, which was witness by 80 guests, including singer Natalie Imbruglia, who gathered with the newlyweds' family and friends inside Babington House's dining room following the exchange of vows in order to toast the couple's happiness with spiced cider.
Extensive coverage of Pearl Lowe and Danny Goffey's wedding day can be found in the current issue of Hello! magazine.
Although his name now appears on the list of Grammy nominees for the Latin Pop Album of the Year award, singer/producer Tommy Torres has already won the most coveted prize of all-- the love of a lifetime. On November 28, 2008, the producer behind chart-topping hits by Ricky Martin, Ricardo Ajona and Jaci Velazquez pledged his devotion to actress Karla Monroig, his fiancee since a 2007 proposal at a Miami restaurant.
A multi-talented performer recognized as much for his work in front of a microphone as for his songwriting and producing abilities, Las Vegas-- The Entertainment Capital of the World-- was an apt choice for Mr. Torres and his bride when selecting their wedding locale. According to PrimeraHora.com, the happy couple opted for an intimate "I do," with a few friends and family members bearing witness to the culmination of a three-year romance.
In 2007, Big & Rich hit the top of the country charts with their ode to "I do," "Lost in This Moment." One year later, John Rich-- who co-penned the heartfelt ballad-- found himself living the song's lyrics as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. According to People magazine, two dozen guests gathered on the evening of December 6, 2008 to witness the singer exchange vows with his love of the past five years, former model Joan Bush,in the country music capital of the world, Nashville.
Following the nuptials, the newlyweds joined family and friends for a reception at Fontanel Mansion, a three-story log manor which was the filming site of the CMT reality series, Gone Country. This was not the first time that the former residence of music legend Barbara Mandrell opened its doors for the post-wedding festivities of a Top 40 recording artist. In 2003 the venue rang out with the laughter of the Judd family as crooner Wynonna Judd celebrated her marriage to D.R. Roach.

120308: Archduchess Marie-Christine of Austria's Wedding (Photo)
On the morning of December 6, 2008, Belgians gathered to give and receive presents in observance of St. Nicholas' Feast Day. That afternoon, Archduchess Marie-Christine of Austria and Count Rodolphe of Limburg Stirum also took part in the time-honored tradition, presenting each other with a gift that will last a lifetime-- their promise to love, honor and cherish each other as they pledged their devotion first in a civil ceremony, then a religious blessing of their marriage.
Although winter's chill has taken hold in the city of Mechelen, the beaming smile of the bride warmed the crowd as she clutched a bouquet of pale yellow roses interspersed with white and blue blossoms and strolled along a red carpet leading her inside Mechelen's City Hall.
One hour after being pronounced husband and wife in a civil ceremony, the newlyweds made their way to St. Rumbolds Cathedral to have their union blessed in the eyes of the church. Strolling down a red aisle runner, the bride passed by family and friends who rose in her honor, admiring her satin wedding ensemble by designer Yves Dooms. The beauty of the regal raiment was enhanced with the addition of a delicate heirloom lace veil which clung to a dainty tiara from the Luxembourg family.
Making their exit from the house of worship, the groom began their happily ever after by kissing his bride's cheek.
