Carrie Prejean Engaged to NFL Star Kyle Boller

Although a stroll on stage as Miss USA 2009 was not to be, former Miss California Carrie Prejean has announced that a walk down the aisle is in her future. The beauty queen, who garnered headlines for her reply to a question regarding same sex marriage at the pageant, plans to say so long to her life as a Miss and hello to a title that she hopes will last a lifetime-- that of Mrs. to St. Louis Rams quarterback Kyle Boller.

A relationship which blossomed in July 2009, a time of turmoil for the dethroned Miss California, led to a proposal during the first weekend in February in San Diego, E! reports. Currently enjoying their first days as fiances, the pair have yet to reveal any plans for their impending I do's.

"Weekend Today" Anchor Amy Robach and Andrew Shue's Wedding

For her 37th birthday, Weekend Today anchor Amy Robach received the present of a future together with the man she loves as she said "I do" to actor Andrew Shue on February 6, 2010.

According to The New York Daily News, among the 120 guests who gathered at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City to witness the bride stroll down the aisle in a wedding dress purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue were members of the bride's NBC "family"-- including Meredith Vieira, Kathie Lee Gifford and Ann Curry-- along with fellow reporters Contessa Brewer of MSNBC and Rick Kaplan of CBS News. Also among the well-wishers was the groom's movie star sibling, Elisabeth Shue.

Making their memory a family affair, the couple's children from their previous unions played a part in the ceremony, which was presided over by the mother of the one-time Melrose Place star.

After pledging their love with self-penned vows, the newlyweds-- who had become betrothed in September 2009-- celebrated their new status as Mr. and Mrs. with a birthday cake for the bride before embarking on a honeymoon excursion to Mexico.
