All aboard for a virtual trip that will test literary lovers’ little grey cells as Hercule Poirot tracks down a killer on the tracks in Masterpiece Mystery‘s new interpretation of Agatha Christie’s classic page turner, Murder on the Orient Express.
In anticipation of the upcoming PBS drama, actor David Suchet– who brings the Belgian detective to life on the small screen– takes viewers on a televised tour of the world’s most famous train. The romance of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, captured forever through the pen of the world’s most well-known author, is revealed in an hour-long program prior to the debut of the new Poirot whodunit as Suchet strolls through the cabins, interviews passengers, crew members and unlocks the mysteries of the train’s history.
David Suchet on the Orient Express: A Masterpiece Special, airs July 7, 2010 on Masterpiece Mystery!, followed on July 11 by Hercule Poirot: Murder on the Orient Express.
