12308: Big Brother Australia Host Engaged

Each week millions of television viewers watch the public display of private lives on Big Brother Australia, and on January 12, 2008 the program's presenter, Mike Goldman, offered a glimpse into his own personal life as he announced his engagement to model Tanya Arlidge during a celebration of his bride-to-be's 21st birthday. News.com.au reports that the couple became betrothed earlier in the month as they stood in front of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, the Las Vegas venue famous for its dancing fountains. While the beauty of the Bellagio prompted the TV host to ask for the hand of the woman he has loved for the past two years, the five-star sanctuary has also been the chosen "I do" destination for several celebrities, including former Baywatch babe Angelica Bridges and hockey player Sheldon Souray and Houston Dynamos forward Paul Dalglish and Brandi Rose.
