Maggie Sottero Unveils Spring 2014 Wedding Dress Collections

Romantics with a love of retro styles can make their walk down the aisle a walk down memory lane in a vintage-inspired vision from Maggie Sottero’s Spring 2014 bridal collections.

Offering a harmonious marriage between 1920s style and contemporary aesthetics, spring 2014’s nostalgic nuptials numbers feature such Jazz Age elements as Neo-classic columns, dropped waists, beading and sheaths combined with dramatically couture components like plunging Vs, caplets and boleros.

Using a palette consisting of subtle shades of blush, Champagne and nude on softly structured silhouettes, Maggie Sottero’s new ceremony styles also captures the elegance of an earlier era with flora botanica adorning sheer organza appliques and lace edged hems and illusion lace gracing backs, necklines and sleeves.

The new year also marks a new look for Sottero & Midgely. Now to debut twice annually, the Sottero & Midgely collection offers affordable couture creations for the bride who wants to make a statement of sophistication at her wedding ceremony.

Combining custom-made laces that have just made a debut on the brand’s bridal attire with intricate hand-beading and thread-craft embroidery, the wedding wear was made to fit the fashion fantasies of brides on a quest for a dress for $4,000 or less.
