Having just won the “Bridal Designer of the Year” Award at Miami Fashion Week, the 2014 wedding dress collections of Rosa Clara are soon to win the hearts of brides-to-be.
Taking inspiration from yesterday to create dresses which symbolize the hope of a happy tomorrow, Rosa Clara turned to the elegance of the flapper era to create low-waisted, low volume skirts made of several layers of silky tulle; sheath dresses draped in crystal and silver art deco beading, and silk organdie handkerchief skirts that capture the essence of retro romance thanks to a vintage-style hemstitch, while bodices are embellished with ornate embroidery and lace detailing on translucent tulle.
Fifties-influenced frocks marry innocence with allure thanks to wide princess skirts paired with streamlined bodices fashioned from silk mikado, ottoman or brocades. Haute couture bows, hem-stitches, embroidered flowers and precious stones complement the creations, while short gloves and bolero jackets can an add extra elements of glamor to the 50’s era ensembles.
The new 2014 collection also offers trendy touches for her timeless looks, such as pockets or unexpected necklines.
The 150th Rosa Clara store recently opened its doors at 365 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Miami. To make an appointment at any Rosa Clara store, click on ‘stores’ at www.rosaclarabridal.com.
