Proving that philanthropy is always in fashion, a reality TV personality has made a vow to help homeless pets by putting her wedding dress up for auction.
Brides-to-be can currently bid on the nuptial number worn by Cat Ommanney– a star from the former Bravo series The Real Housewives of D.C.— for her 2008 I do’s.
A curve-conscious mini dress by designer Claudia, the creation features embellishments of lace, illusion and ribbon, all in a cotton candy-colored tone. Purchased for $1,800, the ‘break-up’ price on NeverLikedItAnyway.com– a website where keepsakes from past loves can be turned into cash– is $1,000.
A happening with heart, proceeds from the auction will benefit The Washington Humane Society– the only Congressionally-chartered animal welfare agency in the nation– which cares for approximately 30,000 dogs and cats each year.
The auction closes July 1st.
