Making retro romantics an offer they can’t refuse, Las Vegas’s new museum of organized crime and law enforcement is celebrating its Valentine’s Day grand opening with a Married at the Mob Museum promotion.
Seven lucky pairs of lovebirds who are ready to walk down the aisle or renew their vows will make history as they first members of the public to walk inside The Mob Museum on opening day. Inside a courtroom where Oscar B. Goodman once defended such notorious notables as Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal and Anthony “The Ant” Spilotro, the former “go-to” mob defense attorney– who served three terms as the Mayor of Las Vegas– will sentence the soul mates to a lifetime of love together as husband and wife.
The winning couples, who will be chosen via a random drawing on VEGAS.com, will be whisked away courtesy of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for a three-day/two-night stay (February 13th and 14th) in the Cabana Suites at the historic El Cortez Hotel, which was once owned by Bugsy Siegel.
The prize package also includes flowers by Gaia, photography, a champagne brunch at MOB BAR following the early morning ceremony and a $250 shopping spree at Fashion Show mall on the famed Las Vegas Strip. Winners will also receive expedited assistance with securing a marriage license in Las Vegas on February 13.
The promotion runs through January 31, 2012, with the winners to be chosen and notified no later than February 1.
