The new year is almost here, and with it arrives more benevolent battles of the brides as TLC unveils the new season of its hit ceremony-themed series, Four Weddings.
Once again a succession of soon-to-be Mrs. will mull over the minutia of each others’ I do’s, scoring the ceremonies in the categories of venue, food, dress and overall experience for the chance of winning a 5-star honeymoon getaway.
In the first episode of the new season, wedding watchers will witness the following unique unions:
- Opera-trained bride Colleen has a song in her heart that she shares with guests before experiencing love’s first kiss with her Prince Charming at the altar.
- A hand puppet ring bearer adds a touch of whimsy to bride Kim’s beach-themed wedding.
- Her father the officiant and mother the maker of her veil, budgeting bride Mirian’s memorable ceremony is a family affair.
- Guests will drink in the atmosphere of bride Jen’s golf club ceremony before drinking toasts to the happy couple during a five-hour cocktail party.
The new season of Four Weddings premieres December 30, 2011 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
