A celebration of “I do” diversity, the series My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding showcases a stroll down the aisle that is also a tightrope walk between two cultures for brides from a community of travelers whose hearts are firmly rooted in ancient tradition.
Viewed by more than nine million wedding watchers when the series first aired in the UK, the seven-part series captures every moment of the wedding ceremony cycle which bond all brides together, from the stress of finding a dream dress to rejoicing at the reception.
Currently in the process of producing an American version of the popular British documentary series, TLC will begin airing My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding on May 29, 2011 with two episodes at 9 and 10 PM ET/PT.
