Pegeen Unveils The Regal Collection

As no fairy tale wedding would be complete without a little princess leading the way down the aisle, Pegeen® has launched a line of flower girl dresses for opulent I do’s.

The Regal Collection…Inspired by Royalty offers sweet silhouettes in duchess silk satin, damask and custom made brocade gilded with options including feathers, jewels, imported French ribbon and tulle and monogramming.

Majestic monikers– Grace (seen in the photo to the right), Elizabeth, Diana, Marie Antoinette, Guinevere, Isabella and Bloody Mary (a crimson creation for holiday weddings)– reflect the eras of elegance which inspired the design of the dresses.

The 10 flower girl frocks can be paired with one of two ring bearer suits, the William and the James.

“I admit I’ve always had a fascination with British history, especially royalty through the ages,” Pegeen® founder Marg Hyland says. “I was lucky enough to visit the United Kingdom the first time as a small child and was fascinated, and became even more besotted on later trips with visits to museums like the Royal Victoria and Albert. In elementary school, I was hooked on a PBS show about Henry VIII, and my fascination has continued since then. Most of my books are about British history, and the lives and fashions of the royal members of society through the centuries. Considering the recent interest in yet another pending British royal wedding, I thought it was time to introduce a line of flower girls dresses and ring bearer suits I’ve been mentally designing for some time … because I know every bride wants to feel like a princess at her own wedding. These outfits will appeal to a broad range of brides who want something unique and beautiful and different in this day and time.”

Proving that pretty wedding day wear which provide a bit of pomp and circumstance do not have to cost a king’s ransom, the flower girl dresses in The Regal Collection start at $300, while the boys’ outfits start at $250.
