Bride Makes Wool Wedding Dress

Think your wedding dress plans are unique? We just saw this in press materials from the newly-released Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Enter If You Dare book.

Shepherdess Louise Fairburn from Lincolnshire, England, got married in a wedding dress made of wool from one of her own flock. Husband Ian wore a woolen waistcoat made from the same sheep. The dress took 120 hours to make and cost around £3,000. Louise, who even carried a Bo Peep-style crook on her big day, loves her sheep so much that they featured in her wedding photos.

Looks like this made for beautiful wedding photos (even if it does make you a little itchy to think about all that wool!)
