More than 2,000 New York brides preparing for their nuptials discovered dream “I do” ideas at the Wedding Salon showcase on April 12, 2010. Held at the Roosevelt Hotel, guests enjoyed an afternoon that offered the latest trends for tying the knot.
“Brides are always looking to stay ahead of the trends and discover the ways to add a celebrity touch to their weddings. We were thrilled to have some of the biggest names in the industry showcase the trends that will be all the rage in the months to come,” says Wedding Salon Founder and renowned Celebrity Event Planner, Tatiana Byron.
Gathered at tables adorned with 15 ft high Inflatable Bouquets of Roses and Sky-High Cherry Blossom Branches arranged by wedding planner to the stars David Tutera for Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and cascading chandelier table tops dripping with crystal, proved that height will be the biggest trend for Summer 2010.
The proper color palette is key to the aesthetic success of any ceremony. Offering a hint of the current “in” hues, The Wedding Salon was decorated in earth tones of greens and browns on chiffon table linens and napkins, while gold charger plates and goblets bathed in the warm glow of flickering light beaming from hanging candles, tea-light votives and floating candles. Adding an extra touch of glamor was the glimmer of crystals.
From unique accents such as monograms and engravings on rose petals to the current mode in mens wedding day wear from Bonobos, attendees were treated to a showing of the latest creations that will have brides walking down the aisle in style, with the piece de resistance a preview of of Fall 2010 couture wedding creations from designers, Ines Di Santo, David Tutera by Faviana, Marina K Couture and Stephen Yearick. Ines Di Santo showed that the biggest trend for Fall will be the ultra-feminine gown. Complete with floral embellishments, the flounce of ball gowns and flirty silhouettes, Ines encourages each bride to embrace her femininity on her big day.
