The Marmara Esma Sultan, a historic mansion where sultans, courtiers and illustrious visitors were once entertained, is one of the city’s top wedding venues. Named after its former owner, Esma Sultan–daughter of the 32nd Ottoman Sultan, the mansion was meticulously reconstructed by The Marmara Hotels & Residences, restored to provide a striking contrast between old and new. Wedding Venues: Esma Sultan features over 7,814 square feet of interior event space and nearly 24,000 square feet of outdoor space in its landscaped gardens. The gardens can accommodate up to 1000 guests for seated banquets and up to 3000 guests for cocktail receptions.
The two-story mansion can accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated banquet and up to 450 for a reception on the upper level and the ground level space can accommodate up to 180 guests for a seated banquet and up to 300 wedding guests for a reception and a private dock allows for the dramatic entrance of arriving by yacht.
