Dear Readers,

Do you enjoy following the news of celebrity weddings and honeymoons? Maybe it's the elaborate weddings, the air of elegance that surrounds these events, or the exotic (and sometimes secret) honeymoon destinations the stars choose. Whatever the reason, we know that these ceremonies pique our interest!

And we've been hearing from our readers that you are also interested in learning more about celebrity weddings, the places where they occurred, and the sites where the stars honeymoon. We're now launching a new channel in Lovetripper called BridalStars, a section dedicated to celebrity weddings and honeymoons. You'll find news about who just married (and what well-known couple might be next to tie the knot), the gowns the stars wore, the food they served, and even ways you can add some stellar touches to your own wedding at a less than Hollywood price tag.

Along with the launching of BridalStars section, it has been a busy travel month for us as well. Last month we attended the Caribbean Tourism Conference, held in St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. The event is a major one in the Caribbean tourism world; this year there were over 600 attendees as well as journalists from across the US, Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe.

We had the chance to talk with tourist board representatives from throughout the islands to get the latest on the best places for romantic travelers. In the coming months, you'll be seeing lots of new coverage of both popular favorites and hidden getaways for lovers.

And, like any conference, it was a great chance to see old friends as well.

We had several group functions with fellow journalists, many of whom we've traveled with in the past. We also had the chance to meet some new people, including the Honorable Dr. Charles Turnbull, the Governor of the US Virgin Islands.

Director of Sales and Marketing, Lauren Kay, shares the Lovetripper.com booth with co-editor Paris Permenter.

Last month we also hosted a booth at a trade show run by the Historic Accommodations of Texas (HAT). Part of their annual conference, the show drew close to 200 B&B operators from across Texas. Our Lovetripper booth attracted a lot of interest from B&B owners who were eager to learn more about the romantic travel and the destination wedding market plus we enjoyed having the chance to meet the owners and hear about their wedding and romance packages.

Until later, Paris and John
