Back to Blogging

Well, we've decided to enter the blogosphere in a big way. We've been reading one of the Dummies books on blogging and considering a blog for the last few days as a way to talk about romantic travel in a more immediate and casual way than the usual travel article. After wresting around with the instructions for blogging software for a while, we decided to incorporate the blog in the website as a letter, a way to jot you a note without being encumbered with another piece of software.

Earlier in the history of Lovetripper, we'd had a monthly blog that looked at where we'd been and what we'd been working on that month. Somehow, though, the month to month format was a difficult one, not frequent enough to be chatty and sometimes filled with just too much info to put into one letter. And so we let it slide...

But now we're back in a new blog format, a way to pass along thoughts and observations to you in an easy way. We'll be popping in every day or so with the latest around the Lovetripper offices.

This week, our thoughts have been on the sad news of the bombings in Amman. We had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson SAS in Amman for several days in 2000; we had a great time there and couldn't have asked for a better trip. Jordan is an incredible destination, from the Roman ruins in Amman to the ancient city of Petra in the southern portion of the country. We just hope that things improve and one of these days we get to return. Right now that trip seems like a long time ago...
