This video from Travelistic.com, a great website for travel videos, recalls a beach wedding on Hermosa Beach in Costa Rica. The slideshow wedding video shows the lovely ceremony of the sunset beach ceremony arranged by Costarica-weddings.com.
This video illustrates one point we're always trying to make sure destination brides understand: on a public beach, expect the public! You'll see numerous onlookers throughout this video (the number grows as the ceremony goes on!) It can all be part of the fun for your ceremony if you're prepared...just make sure that you realize that public beaches can't be closed off for your special event.
This black and white video showcases the real life wedding of Eric and Diana with a Renaissance theme, one that's carried out in details ranging from the bride's dress to the groom's attire (including sword). Many elements of the ceremony are very traditional, making a nice blend between themed and traditional.
This wedding took not only Halloween as its theme but also took inspiration from the movie The Corpse Bride. A homemade wedding from the decorations to the reception, this wedding carried the theme throughout, from makeup for everyone involved to a fog machine at the ceremony.
OK, Rocky Horror fans, here's the ceremony for you: this wedding was held at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel (famous for their excellent Elvis weddings...we've seen them in person and they do a great job.) This ceremony, though, is all Rocky Horror Show, from the wedding officiant to the Time Warp Dance following the vows!
The Las Vegas Hilton is home to Star Trek: The Experience which is the setting for this real wedding video. The wedding takes place on the famous Bridge and is, in many aspects, very traditional except for its themed setting. For more information on wedding ceremonies at this Star Trek venue, see the official website.
Produced by Wedding Isle Productions, this video features a real outdoor wedding in Vancouver, Canada. The garden shots (and the bubbles!) are pretty touches.
This real wedding video features the Seychelles wedding of Natasha and Jens and combines the fun of a vacation video with the beauty of a beach wedding. The video incorporates video and still shots together along with plenty of scenic sots of the island.
This video features still shots from Destin, Florida beach weddings, great for getting ideas for shots you'd like taken during your beach wedding. We loved the shot of the couple at sunset tossing rose petals in the air as well as shots of couples in the sand, surrounded by heart-shaped flower arrangements.
This beautiful video from HiDefVI.com features an Indian wedding on the beach in St. Thomas. From the pre-wedding festivities to the ceremony and decorations, it's a great way to see how you can combine the cultural traditions of your family with a destination wedding right on the beach.
This real wedding video featuring the Aruba wedding of Kasey and Rob was shot on the island's Eagle Beach. It's a nice example of including some of the ceremony along with pre and post ceremony shots plus the beauty of the beach and the sea. The bride and groom each read their own statements at the sunset ceremony.

This beautiful Venice wedding album was created by Yervant Photography in Australia. It features both black and white and color photos of the couple in Venice and is a good reminder of just why this romantic city makes such as spectacular backdrop for destination weddings.
This beach wedding in Maui, Hawaii features the wedding of Kevin and Niccole. Created by Marbelle.com, this is a good example of a wedding video featuring casual beach shots and sunset shots.
This beautiful slideshow features a wedding shot by Honolulu photographer Susanne Pridoehl (www.leilaniphoto.com). We like it for the combination of black and white and color photos and the panning technique which really makes this slideshow come alive.
During those happy days of reading Tiger Beat and 16 magazines in the late '70s and early '80's, a plethora of pre-teens dreamed that one day they would be Mrs. Scott Baio. On December 8, 2007, Renee Sloan was the lucky bride who said "I do' to the former idol during a rooftop ceremony in Los Angeles.
From the moment they tied the knot to the garter toss at the reception, fans who grew up watching "Chachi Arcola" were invited to witness the happiest day in the TV star's life during the season finale of VH1's Scott Baio is 46...and Pregnant.
During cycle one of America's Next Top Model, Adrianne Curry posed for the camera in a number of couture creations. On her wedding day, the reality TV star was a vision in an Alvina Valenta creation. From her bouquet of red roses to her platinum and diamond wedding band from Whiteflash.com, relive Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight's candlelit ceremony and take a peek at their reception at the Rialto Square Theatre.
If you've ever been curious about an Elvis wedding, here's a video of a real Las Vegas wedding at the Doo Wop Diner located at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. We've toured this facility and even been serenaded by this "Elvis" who does a great job. This interview with the couple, Mike and Dina, is well done and shows the fun side of a Vegas wedding.
This real wedding video by www.vegasweddingvideography.com was shot at a Malibu, California wedding. A few touches that we especially liked for destination wedding brides in search of some ideas for their videographer:
• the flower logo in the bottom right corner of the video (it really gave a tropical touch to the video even though most is shot indoors) • the incorporation of the entire event--from preparation for the wedding all the way through the reception into the event • personally, we'd have liked to have seen more of the ceremony and more shots of the guests in the video but that's a decision you and your groom will have to make. Most importantly: be sure to make that decision before the wedding and let your videographer know how you feel. Do you want the ceremony included? (And you may have to talk with the officiant to see if filming will be permitted during the ceremony.) Do you want guests to play a prominent role in the video? Are there some guests you want to make sure will be in the video? Let your videographer know!
