Photographer Rebecca Bouck gives tips for good wedding photos in this video by Get Married on Lifetime TV. We found some really good tips that are applicable to destination weddings here such as making sure the wedding is far enough in advance of sunset that you'll be able to get group shots in the sunset light after the ceremony's over.
Also, Bouck suggests letting your photographer know about non-traditional family arrangements ahead of time, whether that means divorced parents, deceased parents, non-present parents, etc. This is really critical with a destination wedding photographer because often you'll meet the photographer just before the ceremony. We suggest presenting the photographer with a list of "must have" shots...make their job easier and make sure you'll get the photos you want!
