Even if you've never stepped foot in Texas, you might very well have heard of the tiny (and we mean really, really tiny) burg of Luckenbach (pronounced luke-in-bok).
Made famous by Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and an always popular song, the town is home to a dance hall and a combination post office/gift store/beer joint.
Every Friday and Saturday night, you'll find something happening in this town that's just a short drive from Fredericksburg, the bed and breakfast capital of Texas.
On Sunday night we returned from a quick trip to Kingston, Jamaica to attend the annual JAPEX travel trade show featuring tourism developments around the island. While we were in Kingston, we had the chance to visit the Bob Marley House; the reggae superstar bought this home in 1975.
Guided tours take a look at the home (which houses a recording studio that he used and his children still use today), the grounds, and the former manufacturing plant that's now filled with photos, Bob's guitar, and a theater that shows a 20-minute movie on his life. This video takes a look at the property but doesn't include photos inside the home; they're not allowed.
Over the years the name Oscar de la Renta has become synonymous with sophistication, and it comes as no surprise that such high profile personalities as Katherine Heigl, Katie (Lee) Joel, the wife of Piano Man Billy Joel, and First Daughter Jenna Bush have chosen the fashion icon's creations for their I do's. Since launching his premiere wedding wear collection for the public in 2006, the designer has offered brides a selection of silhouettes which run the gamut from fairytale ballgowns to practical pantsuits. Although their styles may vary, a refined elegance is the harmonizing thread which marries all of de la Renta's bridal collections together.

Since launching her line of bridal attire in 1997, Reem Acra has fast become one of the top wedding wear designers to the stars, having created "I do" designs for Marcia Cross, Melissa Joan Hart, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Julie Chen and Star Jones, among others. For her latest collection, the fashion maven added a touch of whimsy to her work, and while the garments pay homage both to past eras and past Reem Acra wedding dresses, the silhouettes feature a soupcon of modernity with the inclusion of a popular current trend, color.
In the following Brides.com clip, Reem Acra displays her Spring 2009 collection:
This interview features Vera Wang, THE designer that comes to so many brides' minds when thinking of wedding dresses. The interview includes some good how to information about picking a wedding dress for a figure type whether that means selecting the best neckline to balance a full bust or the right waistline to whittle away a few extra inches.

It can all be part of the fun for your ceremony if you're prepared...just make sure that you realize that public beaches can't be closed off for your special event.
Although the cake at their reception was garnished with 24 karat gold, it was the small, personal touches, such as the poem read by the bride's sister and a self-penned song sung by the groom, that made Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell and Leighanne Wallace's wedding day priceless.
In this clip from Getmarried.com, watch as Brian Littrell and Leighanne Wallace relive the romance of their September 2000 wedding at the Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta:
While he may be known for crass antics during his days on MTV's Viva La Bam and Jackass, Bam Margera's "I do" day was a class act.
Bringing his own unique vision of wedding wear to his February 3, 2007 nuptials, the skateboarding star's purple velvet jacket, along with bridesmaids in black, added a rock 'n' roll edge to the traditional ceremony.
In the following MTV clip from Bam's Unholy Union, watch as the groom and his bride, Missy Rothstein, are pronounced husband and wife at Loews Philadelphia Hotel (video will open in a new window):
The start of a new year also meant the start of a new life together as husband and wife for actress Billie Piper and actor Laurence Fox, who said so long to 2007 with a New Year's Eve wedding. Choosing a site close to home, the couple exchanged vows at the Parish Church of St. Mary in Easebourne, West Sussex, England.
Although their marriage did not stand the test of time, radio personality Chris Evans was among the first to arrive at the chapel. In the following Mr. Paparazzi clip, the bride's former husband and his new bride stroll past the camera, as does Doctor Who star David Tennant, who enters the church before bridemaids in lovely lavender dresses and the bride, hiding her formal frock beneath a black coat, make their grand entrance.
Sean Bean may be one of Britain's biggest box office draws, but on February 19, 2008 only 15 close friends and family members looked on as the Lord of the Rings star took on the role of a lifetime as he vowed to be a husband to Georgina Sutcliffe. Like many couples who prefer a simple "I do," the actor and his bride chose to declare their devotion in a civil ceremony.
In this Mr. Paparazzi clip, the newlyweds take their first walk together as husband and wife:
This official hotel video offers a look at Sunset Beach Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. (Don't get it confused with its sister property, Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios.) The Montego Bay resort is also home to several beaches (including one that's clothing optional; that's not an option at the Ocho Rios property.)

Color is a common theme for many weddings, and former Charles in Charge star Scott Baio and Renee Sloan's ceremony centered around shades of scarlet. From the crimson carpet which harmonized with the hue of the bridesmaids dresses and accents on the bride's gown to the titian threads of the pashmina shawl wrapped around Renee's shoulders as she danced with her new husband on a floor sprinkled with red rose petals, the color of passion made a bold statement on the day the couple said "I do."
