Gatlinburg's
Little Log Wedding Chapel

Like a vintage Currier &
Ives print, Gatlinburg's Little Log Wedding Chapel is a nostalgic portrait
of Americana. Framed against a thicket of trees which borders the Great
Smoky Mountain National Park, this tiny Tennessee treasure offers nuptials
with a touch of nostalgia.
Wedding
Packages: A variety of wedding packages are available, beginning
with the cost-efficient Woodland Charm, which provides a chapel bathed
in candlelight as traditional music heralds the bride's entrance. Twelve
4x6 photos capture the happy day as up to 10 people witness the 30-minute
ceremony.
Long after the day has passed,
couples will want to reminisce about their "Mountain Memories,"
the venue's most elaborate expression of love. Available for ceremonies
with up to 35-40 attendees, the twinkle-light trimmed chapel is illuminated
from within by candlelight as the bride, clutching a cascading bouquet,
walks past family and friends to the altar. Each moment of the service,
including the lighting of a unity candle, is preserved for posterity with
a video presentation, 30 5x10 's showcased in a wedding album, and a series
of posed photos.
Following the exchange of
vows, newlyweds can raise their glasses and drink a toast to their happiness
with nonalcoholic champagne while they sample slices of a three-tier wedding
cake. At the conclusion of the festivities, the lovebirds present complimentary
wedding photo albums to their parents before embarking on a three-night
honeymoon in one of six deluxe cabins.
The
Chapel: Exposed ceiling beams hover over a forest green aisle
runner on the wooden floor below, which leads brides past rows of rustic
wooden pews to an altar adorned with a silk flower centerpiece. A stained
glass window makes a romantic backdrop, flanked between two candelabras,
each festooned with an arrangement of white flowers tied together with
a white satin bow.
Accommodations:
Six secluded rental cabins and chalets are available to honeymooners,
each with a hot tub, several with a Jacuzzi in the master bedroom.
