Ancestors is an elegant Victorian mansion built in the 1850s. Very private accommodations are yours for a very private time. All rooms are located on the second floor and have private baths, queen-sized beds, TV/VCRs, ceiling fans, fluffy robes and fine linens.
For honeymooners (either your first honeymoon or second or third . . .) we can supply fresh flowers, a gourmet snack basket and ice bucket and champagne flutes for your special night. We will also work with your schedule for checkin so that you can enjoy your wedding reception to the fullest. Leaving early on a plane flight? No problem, we deliver a breakfast snack basket to your room the night before so you can leave early but still have a breakfast.
George and Regina's room is the largest in the house and has a very romatic electric fireplace. This room also features a large two-person rain shower in the private bath. The queen-sized bed is topped by a thick feather bed (hypo-allergenic).
Charlotte's room has a huge old-fashioned, recently refurbished bath with deep, clawfoot tub. This room is decorated in white and beige and reminds you of an old style bridal suite.
Steve & Elma's room is decorated in violets with white accents and looks down on our garden. This room also has a two-person rain shower.
We have a guest refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and juices and also offer complimentary snacks. We serve a full gourmet breakfast each morning featuring individual casserole, home-made muffins and pastries, fresh fruit, home-made granola, Green Mountain coffee, a vast selection of teas and juices.
Most Romantic Room:
Our most romantic room is our very Victorian red and black and gold room called Valentine's room. This room has a queen-sized bed topped by a thick feather bed (hypo-allergenic), fluffy robes, fine linens and a two person whirlpool tub. Relax together after a long day and feel the tension melt away.
