The sailing takes a little over one hour with ferries departing throughout the day. The Anacortes terminal is convenient for Canadian travelers located about 2 1/2 hours south of Vancouver, British Columbia. Turtleback Farm Inn is six miles from the ferry landing and four miles from the island's main town of Eastsound.

Turtleback Farm Inn is a country farmhouse located on Orcas Island, the loveliest of the San Juan Islands which dot the sparkling waters of Puget Sound. This graceful and comfortable inn offers seven bedrooms, each with a private bath and decorated with a blend of fine antiques and contemporary pieces. The inn is considered one of the most romantic places in the country. The addition of the very private Orchard House with four spacious bedrooms, each with full baths and private decks, adds another dimension to these fine accommodations.

A graceful and comfortable Farmhouse and very private Orchard House, Turtleback Farm Inn is considered one of the most romantic places in the country. Highlighted by a spectacular setting, spotless maintenance and award-winning breakfasts, the Inn is a haven for those who enjoy breathtaking scenery, varied outdoor activities and a wide choice of fine restaurants.
Originally constructed in the late 1800s, the 100-year-old "folk national" style farmhouse was initially restored some years ago. The ongoing work preserves the integrity of the original farmhouse while incorporating conveniences necessary for today's travelers.
The living room boasts a Rumford fireplace, comfortable seating, and a corner game table. The large dining room has a convenient wet bar tucked into one corner. There are seven guest bedrooms each with its own private bath and furnished with a blend of fine antiques and contemporary pieces. South of the farmhouse in our orchard is the "Orchard House" offering four delightful king-bedded rooms in a style similar to the Inn.
Most Romantic Room:
Each of the four rooms in The Orchard House are our romantic places. Once checked-in, a guest does not need to see anyone unless they so choose. A full breakfast in a basket is delivered by way of a little door at the time the guest chooses. Each room has a refrigerator and coffee and tea service. These rooms have become very popular as a honeymoon and anniversary setting.

Included in the wedding package are:
* A non-denominational minister who will officiate over your ceremony.
* Based on weather, we provide an indoor location in front of the fireplace or an outdoor site on the deck or by the pond.
* A 6" double layer, single tier wedding cake with your choice of cake, filling and frosting, all decorated with fresh flowers.
* A bride's bouquet of fresh flowers in a clutch arrangement of traditional flowers or a seasonal country mix, all tied in a beautiful ribbon. The groom's boutonniere will be a companion to the bride's bouquet. If a special type of flower is requested, depending on the flower, the package price may vary.
* The package includes a bottle of imported champagne or a non-alcohol Sparkling Cider. If another champagne is requested, it may affect the package price.
* A photographer will take up to 24 photos of your exchange of vows, cake cutting, champagne toast, and bride and groom poses as part of the package price. Additional photos, either in color or black and white, are available in 24 pose increments at an additional charge. All negatives are included.
