There exisits an enchanting chateau, where fairytale begin, its name is Chateau de Challain, the petite Chambord. Situated on 75 acres, just on the corner of a quaint village this chateau is a 19th century masterpiece. Within this newly renovated stone structure is 7000m2. Throughout the ground floor are masterly carved wood paneling and doors garnished with charming sculptures and hand painted ceilings. It is easy to see that this chateau is a treasure to discover. The reason you want to stay here though is the feeling you get as you enter through the grand entry. You will be treated as royalty and greeted as an old friend. Our guest can make themselves comfortable in many rooms. Each room has the original atmophere of the past with modern conveniences of today. Our 3 suites are luxurious, elegant and ready to pamper you. They all come with plush robes and slippers, candles, hairdryer, herbal soaps and shampoo. As you arrive you will find fresh fruit and champagne. We also serve dinner created by our own CIA graduate.(culinary institute of america) At breakfast each guest has the option to enjoy the authentic kitchen which is full of rustic charm. Or choose to share a quiet coffee and croissant in the privacy of their suite overlooking the views of the park and lake. All suites have a marvelous bathrooms with separated w/c. Madames Suite has a handpainted ceiling dating back to 1854 when the chateau was completed. Soak in the tub situated next to the hand carved fireplace. An ajoining room is able to accommadate a third person. The Tour Suite has a canope king size bed surrounded in silk and can also take a third person in a separate room. The oringinal Kings suite is available with its authentic furnishings. The canopy bed is carved of oak that reaches 14ft tall. This is a two bedroom suite with a dressingroom and bath dividing them located on the ground floor. This suite is a 3 night minimum. The chateau is now welcoming guest for many different occations. Challain is perfect for a fairtale weddings, honeymoon. or invite close friends to a special occation receiption. The area is abound in activity. Come feel the magic that Challain holds.

You can't escape the feeling of romance as you enter this suite. With a cozy sofa to snuggle up in as you read poetry, to the king size bed you can get lost in. The small intimate table for two is just in the next room with champagne waiting while you enjoy the sunset.Than go soak in the claw foot tub surrounded by candles and scents of fresh flowers.
