Sunset Inn is the lodging facility associated with artist Jane Gay's Sunset Studio, both of which are part of her personal residence. Constructed in 2002-03 Sunset Inn was designed to take advantage of the magnificent views from the site which is one of the highest elevations on the "Divide". The residence has been decorated with antiques, collectibles, family memorabilia and Jane's personal art. Sunset Inn is not a typical Bed & Breakfast. In addition to a full country breakfast there is "Retreat Time" at dusk, and your Saturday stay includes dinner. With advanced reservations lunch is available daily and dinner is available Sunday through Friday. Complimentary alcoholic beverages are available to guests at dinner and "Retreat Time". "Retreat Time" offers guests a chance to sit on the porches; relax in the porch swings; enjoy the Texas Hill Country; all while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and drinks before dinner. If the weather is inclement you can relax in front of the fireplace. You can even hand feed Jane's pet longhorn. Meals are considered an "event" at Sunset Inn. Food trends toward southwestern-style cooking. Meal time, especially breakfast and dinner, are designed to be a throwback to the "good old times" where friends dined and conversed on life in general, the arts and the day's events. Accommodations include 2 bedrooms, Van Gogh & Monet. Each room sleeps 2 - queen beds. Each private bath which adjoins each bedroom offer corner soaker tub and walk in shower. Satellite TV, with remote control are in each room. Amenities also include CH/A, big screen TV, VCR/DVD, acerage, wild life and PEACE & QUIET!

Both bedrooms have private baths which adjoin. Relax in the soaker tubs with bubble bath, scented candles, with a romantic view of the hill country through the 4 foot X 4 foot windows which adjoin the tubs. Contact the Innkeeper for special arrangements such as flowers, candy, etc.
