Entry Requirements:

U.S. citizens need proof of identity upon airport check-in but do not need to pass through immigration. It's a good idea to bring along your passport, however, in case you pop over to the nearby British Virgin Islands.

Duty Free Allowance:

You'll enjoy the largest duty-free allowance in the Caribbean in the US Virgin Islands, double that found on other Caribbean islands. Each member of your party can spend up to $1,200 without duty, and you may mail up to $100 in gifts daily.

All visitors over 21 years old can return with five fifths of liquor duty free (six fifths if one is a Virgin Islands product). Tourist items also have no sales tax.
