Provo's most exclusive property, this a Swiss-owned hotel has
22 suites and a regard for privacy. We have seen few properties
in the Caribbean with this level of style. Furnished with items
from Mexico and India, the rooms are decorated in subdued beige
tones to put the emphasis on the brilliant color of the sea
just beyond the balcony.
Guests can choose
from a list of complimentary activities, or pamper themselves
with a facial, body wrap, or even a massage on the beach. For
some time alone, the hotel can arrange to drop the two of you
off on an uninhabited island with a picnic lunch. At the end
of the day, enjoy a cocktail in the palapa bar, dinner at Anacaona,
the finest restaurant on the island, and some dancing to live
music under the stars. This resort isn't for the budget conscious,
but for those who can afford it, this is luxury itself.
Hotel Features:
beachfront, tennis, fine dining, complimentary watersports,
sailing, golf at nearby course

This simple accommodation with seven guest rooms plus a dorm
room with multiple beds is a favorite with scuba divers. All
rooms are furnished with antiques.
Although divers
may comprise the biggest part of their guest list, the owners
of this inn haven't forgotten romantics as well. Here you'll
find one of the most romantic offerings in the Caribbean --
and at no extra cost. You can arrange to overnight on a private,
uninhabited island. The inn will take you out by boat and provide
tents, bedrooms, a gas grill and a bottle of wine. The rest
is up to you. As the owner says, "You can reinvent the
wheel as a couple" in this truly Robinson Crusoe-type setting.

It's somewhat surprising to find this exclusive eight-room hotel
tucked away on tiny Salt Cay. Perhaps that's what makes this
inn so special. Add furniture imported from Costa Rica, a library
with over a thousand volumes, a restaurant featuring Caribbean
food including Salt Cay lobster (reservations required), horseback
trails, and nature trails, and you've got a romantic getaway
for those looking for the ultimate in privacy. You can even
splurge and book a suite with its own plunge pool.
