Conrad Hilton's personal project still exudes an air of comfort
and elegance amid a bustling city. This hotel is known as the
"upside-down Hilton" because the lobby and ground
level make up the top floor and the guest rooms are located
downhill.
Visitors are met
by walkways of smooth teak, grown on the island and used in
furniture and railings throughout the hotel. Rooms are similar
to those found in other traditional business-oriented hotels,
but all include a private balcony overlooking Queen's Park Savannah.
Carnival is held directly across the street from the hotel,
so during that time come prepared to party.

in which to enjoy the downtown region in a setting much like
a country inn. This property may be small in size, but, it has

This luxurious hotel hugs the Caribbean coastline, combining
tropical elegance with island casualness for a wonderfully romantic
atmosphere. This new property is located just a mile from Crown
Point International Airport. Lacking its own natural beach,
the resort constructed a sand beach protected by an offshore
breaker, so the calm waters are ideal for lazy afternoon floats.
Next door lies Store Bay, a very popular beach, and Pigeon Point,
another well-known Tobago stretch of sand.
The most romantic
room at Coco Reef is, without a doubt, the Sunset Villa. Set
apart from the rest of the hotel, this charming villa is constructed
in true Caribbean fashion with a red tin roof, gingerbread trim,
and its own private lawn which overlooks the sea. Decks lead
down from the villa's porch to overlook the water; here the
two of you can pull up lounge chairs and watch the sunset from
your own private patio in this intimate spot.
Indoors, the villa
reveals its true luxury, with two baths sporting gold tone fixtures
and marble floors, a full size living room with wet bar, and
a sprawling bedroom with its own patio as well. Romance couldn't
ask for a better setting.
