Book Review of The Virtuoso Lover

Valentine's Day is all about romance, romantic getaways, and romantic gifts...but, let's face it, when it comes right down to it, the focal point of the day is lovemaking. Are you looking for a gift for your guy to help him understand what makes a man a master in the bedroom? Check out the new triology, The Virtuoso Lover, by Michael Webb (best known to many readers as "The RoMANtic" who has been seen everywhere from major magazines to the Oprah show.)

This 524-page set covers every topic under the sun related to sex. Book One, Secrets of the Female Instrument, begins with mistakes most guys make as well as a look at the fundamentals and principles for great lovemaking.

The second book, Techniques of the Masters, gets into the nitty-gritty of the subject: what goes where, how to touch her, you name it, it's there. This book covers foreplay with dozens of ideas of what to do with her neck, shoulders, arms, chest, legs, mouth, eyes, ears and more. This volume was excellent in that it shows men they shouldn't try too hard (which can come across as looking just plain robotic rather than romantic).

Book Three, Concerts, Crescendos and Encores, takes a look at topics ranging from faking it to positions to sex talk and being comfortable in your own skin.

This focus on the mindset of lovemaking, rather than just a manual of technique, makes this guide stand out in a crowded field. All in all, The Virtuoso Lover is an exceptional trilogy on the art of true lovemaking, a good option for Valentine's lovers looking for something other than candy and roses.

Book Review: 100 Sex Games for Couples

Wondering what to get him for Valentine's that would be a present for the both of you? Check out 100 Sex Games for Couples, written by Oprah romance expert Michael Webb, best known to readers as "The RoMANtic." This book takes a look at one of the biggest challenges in a long-term relationship: keeping things interesting in the bedroom. Whether it's your schedules, the kids, or economic worries, it's easy to put your sex life on the back burner.

Michael Webb discusses how intimacy is spiritual, emotional and physical, setting the tone for the book that emphasizes that these games are really about "making love," not "having sex."

The book itself is composed of really about 33 original games then another 67 that are variations of the original set, changing the rules to create different versions. Games include:
  • a guessing game
  • a night of passion that starts elsewhere
  • a game where stories become your drive for pleasure
  • a card game with a twist
  • a game to choose your bedroom clothing
Others involve food, touching, sharing intimate secrets, and more.

Final word? With the free bonuses the book includes, it's a better investment than a box of candy...

2009106: New Book Explores How to Get Him Back

If the new year has you thinking of resolutions--and one of those is to get your ex back--then check out a 40-page report we just ran across called "Getting Him Back." Written by romance expert Michael Webb (you might have seen him on Oprah), this book covers how to get your guy back in three steps.

One of the most helpful sections is the six biggest mistakes women make when they're working to get their guy back...things like stalking/spying, calling his friends, sending letters and flowers, trying to make him feel guilty, deciding to change who you are, and, worse yet, giving up!

You'll also find tips on the best time to get your guy back, how to act when you run into your ex, what to do if he's already dating again, and more.

This book also comes with two bonus books: How to Save Your Marriage (which includes the top marriage mistakes that cause divorce and how to avoid those as well as a quiz to know if saving your marriage is a possibility) and 101 Romantic Ideas (ones that you'll find very recession-friendly!)
