Praised for bringing boho chic on to the pages of high-profile fashion magazines in the mid-2000’s, silver screen beauty Sienna Miller has turned her sights from floaty frocks to a more streamline style with her clothing brand Twenty8Twelve. Since its debut in 2007 the fashion line, helmed by the star of such romantic fare as Casanova and Stardustand her sister Savannah, has released collections consisting primarily of a black, slate grey and white palette displayed on a canvas of shirt dresses, body-hugging jeans and schoolgirl-influenced above-the-knee attire accented with Peter Pan collars.
Although somber colors are a staple for Twenty8Twelve (a name derived from the movie star’s date of birth), occasional bursts of butter yellow, ocean blue and bubblegum pink (paired with grey for an ’80’s-inspired ensemble christened “Claudie”) make appearances in the spring/summer 2008 collection.
Twenty8Twelve clothing can be purchased at such upscale stores as Intermix, Neiman Marcus and Saks and ordered from a number of online clothing sites including Asos and shopbop.com.
