FAQ: Submitting Your Story to myLovetripper

Will my email address be published?

No. The editors of Lovetripper.com need it in case we need to contact you for   verification but it will not be published on Lovetripper.com and you will not   be subscribed to anything due to providing that email address. We’ll never   share it…period.

Do I have to use my real name?

Yes and no. The editors of Lovetripper.com need your real name but we don’t   need to publish your real (or complete) name…feel free just to be “Ann   and Mike” if you like.

Can I publish my article elsewhere?

Yes.

I own a B&B. Can I write about a wedding held at my property?

The stories in myLovetripper are by the readers themselves. Feel free to write   an article like “The Top 10 Romantic Attractions in Portland” if that’s   where your B&B is; our only request is that your B&B now be one of the   top 10 attractions. You’re free to include the B&B (and a link to your   B&B website) in the author bio. If you’d like more exposure for your   business, please contact us about our   low-cost advertising options or   see our advertising page.

I’m not a writer but I want to share my story. Is that a problem?

Not at all! We offer easy question and answer formats for our main three categories—my   Destination Wedding, my Honeymoon, and my Romantic Getaway—so these make   it easy to share your experience without feeling like you’re writing a   novel. Also, we welcome a photo or two from your trip with a caption about what   made it great.

What’s myStory?

We welcome travel articles destinations you find romantic—even if you   don’t want to share your own personal story.

I’m having a problem with the online submission form. Can I still submit?

Yes. If your browser has difficulty with the online submission form (and some   older browsers do), feel free to email your contribution to editors@lovetripper.com.   Please put mylovetripper in the subject line.
