Dallas, you are the best
Dallas, Dallas, you’re the golden city and palace of the west.
you’re the greatest, you’re the best.
A second home and family,
a true and trusted friend,
one that will stand beside you till the very end.
For that's what sets your city and populace apart from all the rest,
for Dallas and your people,
you’re the best.
when away from home,
and all alone,
I have only one aim and quest......
to return as soon as possible,
to lay my mind and heart at rest.
for Dallas, you are the best.
