Peering down upon elegant boulevards from the
Arc de Triomphe
lovers strolling along the Champs-Élysées
imaginary strings, chords and sounds of violins begin to play,
what more can one say.
A romantic cruise on the Seine,
lovers kissing along her the bank,
roses later bought for his sweetheart, for a Franc.
The sight of Notre Dame, sets young lovers hearts aflame.
Hilltop view looking out toward the city from the Sacre Coeur,
tourists in Montmartre shopping while on tour.
The panorama of Paris atop the Eiffel Tower cause lovers hearts to skip a beat,
the magnificence and grandeur sets one's heart asunder,
as surely as a lightning bolt, always follows thunder.
Leisurely walks along rue Pigalle,
catching the can-can at the Moulin Rouge.
Days spent at museums and when Mona Lisa smiles your way at the Louvre.
Two hearts will beat as one.
For, her smile will always touch and move for,
Paris will always belong to lovers.
