It’s safe to say that nobody wants to get sick on vacation and that is doubly true if it’s your honeymoon or long-awaited romantic getaway. Certainly one way you can get germs–and bacteria like E. coli–is through your toothbrush. In fact, a recent study unveiled that 92 percent of Americans say they are more concerned with keeping their toothbrush clean than any other toiletry item when traveling.
But where do you store your toothbrush when you travel? In a plastic bag? Inside a little snap-on cap or travel case? (Seventy-four percent of those surveyed do.)
We just heard about the VIOlight VIO200 Travel Toothbrush Sanitizer which stores your toothbrush while it eliminates up to 99.9 percent of germs. Here’s how it works: the germicidal light activates when you snap shut the lid; within six minutes, that light has sanitized your toothbrush and keeps it safely stored until you’re ready to use it again.
Now that’s something to smile about!
