Bill Clinton (photo, right, with The Adlon general manager Gianni van Daalen), in Berlin to sign copies of his newly released autobiography, My Life, stayed overnight at the legendary Hotel Adlon Kempinski. The sumptuous hotel, adjacent to the Brandenburg Gate, was opened by the Kaiser in 1907, and reopened by the President of Germany in 1997. The Adlon is famous for its classic style and elegance, and has long been a favorite of presidents, royalty and celebrities.

Melding with the Asian culture which has become so close to her heart, actress Angelina Jolie added yet another tattoo to her vast array of body adornments while on a recent trip to Bangkok. The star of "Tomb Raider" chose a tiger design to commemorate her visit.

While most of Hollywood's elite have chosen warmer climes in which to wile away the lazy summer days, lovebirds Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have decided to take the road less traveled with an excursion to North Wales. The couple have been soaking up the sights from a barge drifting along the waterways and have spent at least one night in the cozy Bryn Howel Hotel in the town of Llangollen.

Taking a well-deserved break from royal duties, Spain's King Juan Carlos climbed aboard El Bribon to compete in the Queen's Cup yachting race in Valencia, Spain. One of the monarch's competitors was none other than his son, newlywed Crown Prince Felipe, who helped his team aboard the CAM to a second place finish while his bride, Princess Letizia, cheered him on from the sidelines at the Valencia Yacht Club.

Summer is the perfect time to dive into the latest best selling novel as you soak up the rays by the pool, and celebrities like to indulge themselves in the same leisurely pastimes. Kill Bill star Uma Thurman and her beau, Chateau Marmont proprietor Andre Balazs were recently spotted catching up on a little light reading while worshipping the sun in Bodrum, Turkey while on a romantic holiday.

A new summer romance has been kindled between model Kate Moss and "Road To Perdition" actor Daniel Craig under the sultry sun of Formentera, a secluded island near Ibiza.

Even business affairs can turn into affairs of the heart. Just ask newlyweds Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark, who celebrated Greenland's culture by donning native clothing and taking to the slopes at Apussuit while on an official tour of the Arctic paradise.

A month-long honeymoon was blissfully concluded at The Wakaya Club on the South Pacific island of Fiji for newlyweds Crown Prince Felipe of Spain and Princess Letizia. Surrounded by white sand, this romantic resort is famous for catering to Hollywood royalty, including Celine Dion, Nicole Kidman, and James Bond himself, Pierce Brosnan.

Grace Kelly's daughter, Princess Caroline of Monaco, her husband Prince Ernst of Hanover and young daughter Alexandra were recently spotted enjoying the cobalt blue water near Corsica aboard their yacht. Even though away from their home, the royal couple surround themselves with reminders of their family-- their luxury cruiser was christened Pacha III, an amalgem of their first three children's names-- Pierre, Andrea and Charlotte.

Rock singer Rod Stewart has no need to ask "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" to his long-time girlfriend, Penny Lancaster. The duo were recently seen enjoying a romantic getaway in Sardinia.

German supermodel Claudia Schiffer may have homes around the globe (London, New York, Monte Carlo as well as her homeland) but it is her abode on the island of Majorca which conjures up images of her happy childhood, where she spent many of her summer vacations. Claudia, along with her husband Matthew Vaughn, are carrying on the family tradition and are spending time in their holiday home on the isle with their son, Caspar.

The jet set lifestyle of French model Laetitia Costa began on a beach in Corsica, where the sunbathing beauty, fifteen at the time,  was spotted by a fashion photographer.  The superstar was recently seen enjoying a leisurely beach excursion, along with her fiance Stefano Accorsi and her daughter Sahteene at Fregene in coastal Italy.

Following in the footsteps of such Hollywood icons as Elizabeth Taylor, Greta Garbo and Grace Kelly, Sex and The City star Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, travelled to the isle of Capri for a few days of rest and relaxation. In Capri the past and present live in harmony together, from ancient Roman ruins to the most up to the minute spa treatments offered by a multitude of deluxe five-star hotels which dot the island. The City of Light has been illuminated by a number of stars in recent days. Heartthrob Brad Pitt whisked his wife, actress Jennifer Aniston, away for an intimate outing on a bateau-mouche, where the couple enjoyed a late evening trip down the Seine. The duo were also spotted savoring the delicacies at two of the finest restaurants in Paris, Stresa and L'ami Louis, a dining establishment which has served members of high society since 1924, and is known as one of the favorite eateries of former president Bill Clinton.

Pop star Britney Spears was also spotted enjoying a romantic Parisian rendezvous with her current beau, Kevin Federline. The two cruised past the myriad of shops along the Champs Elysses and toured the Invalides musuem , the final resting place of Napoleon.

The Spanish Steps, immortalized in the romantic movie classic Roman Holiday, is located near the Hotel de Russie, the five-star deluxe hotel which stars Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon have recently called home while filming Ocean's Twelve.
