Couples Resorts Makes Dream Weddings Come True

TLC recently chose Couples Ocho Rios from dozens of Caribbean locales to host a fantasy island wedding for its popular daytime television series, A Wedding Story. As a result, all couples looking to tie the knot can now have their own fantasy island wedding on a private island at Couples Ocho Rios.

A handsome young bride and groom were united on Couples Ocho Rios' pier for a special week of shows dedicated to Fantasy Island Weddings on TLC's A Wedding Story. The couple was married under a flowing canopy and then whisked to a magical celebration on Tower Isle.

"I have seen my fair share of weddings from my experience working on A Wedding Story, and this is one of the most beautiful ceremonies and receptions I've seen," said producer Alicia Nathanson. "It really did look like an absolute fantasy wedding--everything was gorgeous."

Now couples can have their own private island wedding thanks to a new "Private Island Wedding Package" for brides and grooms looking to add a little something extra to their Caribbean wedding. The standard wedding package, which includes a choice of scenic locations, a wedding coordinator, ceremony, floral arrangements, and a two-tier cake, is already offered as part of Couples Resorts all-inclusive rate.

The additional "Private Island Wedding Package" gives couples the option of adding an exclusive feature to their wedding by celebrating their vows with a reception on Tower Isle, the resort's own private island. The resort is offering this package to all future brides and grooms and up to 50 guests for $2500. For an additional $50 per person, the party can enjoy a sit-down, five-course meal featuring steak and lobster.
