Niagara Falls Hotels
from the Niagara Falls Honeymoon Planner

For honeymoons and romantic getaways, your choice of accommodations is a big one. Fortunately you’ll find a good selection of romantic hotels in Niagara with views of the falls, plenty of nightlife, and romantic dining all in one. The best selection of hotels is found on the Canadian side of the falls.

Recommended Hotel: Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort

During our visit, we stayed in the new Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, a mega-complex that overlooks both the American and the Horseshoe Falls. Better yet, the hotel didn’t just overlook the falls, our room overlooked the falls…and our bathroom overlooked the falls. Every place you went in the corner room had an unbeatable view of the American, Bridalveil and Horseshoe Falls, both day and night. That room may very well hold the record for best view of any hotel room we’ve been lucky enough to stay in around the world.

When we could manage to pull ourselves away from the room, we enjoyed the many assets of the CAN$1 billion hotel, which included:

  • A 200,000 square foot casino which was open 24 hours a day
  • A performing arts center, where we watched a Vegas-caliber show
  • A spa
  • A shopping complex
  • Multiple restaurants including 17 Noir for fine dining
  • A nightclub

The hotel really bustles in the evening, both for the casino and for the theater, which draws in many headliner acts. We especially enjoyed walking behind the hotel at night to enjoy the lookouts. The roar of the falls can be heard all along this well-lit walkway, which overlooks the illuminated falls.

For more on our stay at this romantic resort, read our article "Just Back....Niagara Falls."
