Getting
to Niagara Falls Flying into Niagara, you’ll
have two good choices: Buffalo, New York or Toronto. Ontario. The closer of the two is Buffalo
Niagara International Airport , located in New York State. The airport
lies about 50 minutes from Niagara Falls, Canada; you’ll need to
cross the international border on the way (an easy task; we stayed in
the taxi for our border crossing, just handing our passports out the window
for the quick stop.) The Toronto airport is about 1 hour, 40 minutes from Niagara by road. A romantic way to travel from Toronto to Niagara is aboard the train; VIA Rail Canada travels twice a day during summer months.
