Amy Lee Enjoys Little Rock Wedding
May 2007-- Amy Lee has traveled the globe as the lead
vocalist for her Grammy Award-winning band Evanescence, but when the
time arrived to walk down the aisle the gothic goddess decided that
there's no place like home. On the afternoon of May 6, 2007 she donned
an ivory-hued, Victorian-influenced gown and a veil to say "I do"
to therapist Josh Hartzler at her parent's residence in Little Rock,
Arkansas.
Following the ceremony, People magazine's online site
reported that the newlyweds enjoyed slices of a white chocolate butter
cake enriched with coconut filling and encased in robin's egg blue icing
before spending their first night together as husband and wife in a
suite at the Peabody Hotel. The 418-room Little Rock retreat, like the
Memphis hotel for which it was named, features the Peabody ducks, who
waddle twice daily down a red carpet to the hotel's lobby fountain.
After a night at The Peabody Hotel, the couple packed
their bags for a flight for an undisclosed island south of the Bahamas.
