Brittany Murphy's Wedding
May 2007 -- The magic of the Kentucky Derby
brings out the romantic in Hollywood stars. In 2002, "Sabrina The
Teenage Witch" star Melissa
Joan Hart met the man of her dreams, Mark Wilkerson, at a Louisville
derby fundraiser, and in May 2007 "Just Married" star Brittany
Murphy arrived on the arm of her recently-pronounced husband, writer and
director Simon Monjack.
Keeping intimate details of their
nuptials private, the happy couple revealed that they had been united
in matrimony a few weeks earlier in a Jewish ceremony which took place
at their Los Angeles residence.
Although the Queen of England was
an honored guest at the famous Louisville, Kentucky equestrian event,
the new bride looked equally as regal as she wore not one, but two platinum
Neil Lane engagement rings along with her wedding band. According to
People magazine's web site, the actress is now the owner of a 5-carat
yellow diamond ring, which is flanked by white diamonds, and a 6.5-carat
cushion-cut sparkler enhanced with diamonds set into the ring's band.
