Denmark's Princess Alexandra Weds
March 2007-- Taking her two young sons Felix and Nikolai
by the hand, Princess Alexandra of Denmark, the former wife of His Royal
Highness Prince Joachim, embarked on a new chapter in her life as she
walked down the aisle of Oster Egende Church in the city of Fakse on
March 3, 2007.
As elegant as any tiara, dainty white flowers adorned
her upswept tresses as the bride made her way past 120 guests in a champagne
satin Henrik Hviid creation paired with a ribbon-edged veil, her diamond
and pearl earrings and necklace catching the light inside the house
of worship as the man she loves looked on from the altar.
At the conclusion of the service, the bride and her husband,
who wore a white bow tie and black tails for the occasion, posed for
photographers who captured the smile of the woman who now proudly bears
the titles of both Alexandra Countess of Frederiksborg and Mrs. Martin
Jorgensen.
