January 2007-- Last minute preparations are currently
underway at Sudley Castle for a wedding fit for show business royalty,
as actress/model Elizabeth Hurley and her long time love Arun Nayar
are scheduled to arrive at the 15th century manor on the evening of
March 3rd to unite in holy matrimony.
According to The Daily Mirror, Prince Pavlos of
Greece and Princess Marie-Chantal as well as Elton John and David Furnish
will be among the guests to witness the Estee Lauder spokesmodel walk
down an aisle where Queen Katherine Parr, the sixth wife of King Henry
VIII, and Lady Jane Grey, who ruled as England's queen for nine days,
once walked.
Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, guests will
return to their suites at Barnsley House Hotel, a 17th century edifice
constructed of Cotswold stone, and the cozy country confines of The
Village Pub, a neighboring inn where family and friends can drink a
toast to the bride and groom.
The couple's English exchange of vows are to be
followed by a ceremony in India to honor the groom's heritage. Garbed
in a sari created by Tarun Tahiliani, a designer known for concocting
the wedding attire for Jemima Khan (the current love of actor Hugh Grant)
for her 1995 ceremony to Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan, the model will
once again declare her love for her new husband as she stands in front
of assembled attendees, reportedly at Devi Garh Fort Palace, who have
been requested to don orange kurtas and pink saris for the occasion.
