Vanessa Feltz, Ben Ofoedu Engaged in Dublin
Jan. 2007 -- A diamond ring from London's Alexandrov
jewelers on Marylebone High St. graces the left hand of bubbly British
TV and radio hostess Vanessa Feltz following her December 29, 2006 engagement
to former Phats & Small frontman Ben Ofoedu.
A romantic day for the couple in Dublin, which began
with a shopping spree in which the singer gifted his love with white
roses and she presented him with a volume of poetry, ended with a proposal
on bended knee in a suite at The Clarence Hotel, the 48-guestroom boutique
retreat co-owned by U2's Bono and The Edge.
The prospective groom heightened the sense of romance
by arranging crimson roses in a heart shape upon their bed.
The couple are currently making plans for a summer 2007
wedding ceremony.
