Sophie Monk, Benji Madden Engaged
Dec. 2006 -- Australian actress Sophie Monk ("Date
Movie") received a special present on Christmas Eve 2006-- the
promise of a life together with her love of the past six months, Good
Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden. The rocker proposed during a vacation
spent on Australia's Gold Coast with the bride-to-be's parents, presenting
the blonde beauty with a Neil Lane engagement ring composed of a 2-carat
diamond set on a platinum band embellished with 100 diamonds. A wedding
date has not been announced.
