Barrowman's Commitment Ceremony in Wales
A 16-year romance led to the legal union of two souls
on December 27, 2006 as actor John Barrowman, best known to sci-fi fans
as Captain Jack Harkness on the "Doctor Who" spin-off series
"Torchwood," exchanged vows with architect Scott Gill at St
David's Hotel and Spa, a 5-star, 132- guest room retreat in the city
of Cardiff which was deemed the best hotel in Wales at the 2005 World
Travel Awards.
An intimate gathering of family and friends congratulated
the couple before the kilt-clad actor made a graceful exit in order
to thrill the audience on hand to watch his Christmas pantomime performance
in Jack and The Beanstalk at Cardiff's New Theatre.
The two life partners, who reportedly are hoping to expand
their family with children, plan to continue living in Cardiff Bay with
their two loyal canine companions, Penny and Lewis.
