Celebrity Travel News, December 2006

Mother-to-be Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott may have found in the city of Idyllwild, California a cozy love nest from which to film their upcoming reality TV series. The newlyweds, who will be renovating a bed and breakfast in front of the cameras, were spotted at both Creekstone Inn and The Quiet Creek Inn in recent days. Both guarded by the majestic San Jacinto Mountains, guests who check into The Creekstone Inn will savor a serene B&B experience, the inn's nine guest quarters awash in a peaceful palette of pastel hues accented with wooden paneling, while romantics who book one of the series of duplex cabins at Quiet Creek Inn can curl up in front of a stone fireplace after exploring six and one-half wooded acres.

Architecture aficionado Brad Pitt recently relished a two-hour tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Mill Run masterpiece, Fallingwater, courtesy of his lady love Angelina Jolie, who scheduled a viewing of the site for the actor's birthday. On November 16, 1981, 30 million TV viewers bore witness as daytime drama's most beloved couple, Lucas Lorenzo Spencer and Laura Webber Baldwin, were pronounced husband and wife. Twenty-five years later, soap fans gathered around the television set as actors Anthony Geary and Genie Francis once again stepped into their "General Hospital" personas to pledge their love, this time in an outdoor ceremony held at the Arboretum of Los Angeles County, a 127-acre verdant vision which has been showcased in a number of classic moments on both the big small screen, from Alfred Hitchcock's seductively suspenseful "Notorious" to TV's "Fantasy Island." Romantics longing to follow in the footsteps of the dreamy daytime duo can exchange vows from April through October at a number of the Arboretum's sites, including the Queen Anne Cottage lawn, the rose garden, the sunset demonstration garden, the Bauer lawn and the waterfall.
