Christijan Albers's Amsterdam Wedding

One racer Christijan Albers is accustomed to the rush of adrenaline
on the race track, but on November 11, 2006 it was his pulse that accelerated
when the driver saw Liselore Kooijman walk down the aisle in a strapless
ivory wedding dress. The couple pledged their devotion at The Grand,
a regal 5-star retreat in the hub of Amsterdam where Her
Majesty Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands exchanged vows forty-one years
ago.
The groom, who had donned
a dark suit accented with a single white rose boutonniere which mirrored
the roses in his bride's bouquet, posed for photos with the newly-dubbed
Mrs. Albers in the hotel's inner courtyard before joining family and
friends for a reception held at Westergasfabriek, the Dutch capital
city's cultural park.
